Good.  Once you get used to the format, it is simple to use.  I like that we don't have to "recreate" certain documents, letters and pleadings.

When it comes to workflows, those generate tasks as you mentioned. It's set up this way because tasks show up on the task tab globally as well as from within each matter. They're also shown on the Daily Digest widget, which is printable. Overall, the experience has been excellent. Other than the mobile application leaving much to be desired, the desktop-based application has been fantastic. They offer a wide variety of functionality, and their technical development team has been incredibly helpful in responding to our communications with them. There is so much good to be said about the product offered. Having seen a number of other practice management solutions, nobody else comes close to the full functionality of Smokeball for most practice areas.

Very friendly and helpful and out to see you succeed and get the most from the software. Everyone seems to have law firm experience from the Implementation Specialist and Account Manager who have many years of experience as a Paralegal to the Billing Trainer who is a Lawyer and they know what they are recommending or helping with and why.  You are not alone, you have a great support staff, video training, webinar training, one on one training etc. Believe it or not...the Sales guy didn't lie.....pretty much everything he sold us on during the demo is true!

I have used multiple case management systems in the legal field. I have found that Smokeball has been the best program to us. It does take some adjustment, but so does anything. I think is the easiest program to use and track your information in files as well as being able to sync easily to the file.

We have been using Smokeball for about 4 years now at our law firm and it's made all our lives much easier.  It keeps everything organized and accessible. Everything is stored on Smokeball, so any contact information, emails, documents, appointments etc. we can pull up anywhere anytime because they have an app as well. Smokeball makes managing a legal practice simple.

Jenny G.:                                              My name is Jenny. I am a partner at the law firm of Alexander Grossman. And I give Smokeball a rating of 5.
                                                       Prior to signing on with Smokeball, we did not use any case-management software. We had our own system, which we'd been using for many years, where we had an index in a Word document of all of the Word documents that we had, which were just saved to our desktop and eventually to a server, but we had no way to connect that with clients or client matter. And when Smokeball came along, we were really interested because it made everything that we were previously doing much more streamlined. And what we were doing before really had no way to see all of the documents that we were doing for a particular client or a particular matter for that client. And Smokeball was able to do all of that.
                                                       We decided to go with Smokeball because at the time, the price was a low introductory price. And it was something that we had not heard of before, just the idea of having all of our documents, all of our emails, all of our case notes and everything for a particular client and a particular matter all in one spot.
                                                       The onboarding process with Smokeball was really streamlined and straightforward. They have great customer service. We had at least one dedicated person who was working with us on training and implementation. But whenever we had a question, we could call them. And it was really seamless. They came in into our office and set everything up with our scanner, with our printer, with our computer, so that it was all seamless.
                                                       My advice for anybody considering getting Smokeball is, it's worth it. They have made our day-to-day practice so much simpler. Everything is easy to find in one place. They have great customer service. And something that I'm really impressed with is that we've been with them now for several years, and they're always coming out with new integrations with other programs, either that we've already been using, and it makes it easier for us to use those. One example is our title ordering software. But they're also adding more features to the program, which allow us to discontinue subscriptions to other services that we're paying with. So it's making the Smokeball service itself more economically feasible.
