What is Fomo?
Fomo is a cloud-based no-code social proof marketing automation solution for websites which aims to foster credibility and increase conversion rates by displaying recent customer activity to website visitors. The software offers a range of native integrations with sales and marketing systems, eCommerce platforms, social media, shopping carts, customer messaging, and other applications, in addition to a developer API.
Fomo’s codeless interface allows users to create an unlimited number of message permutations and conversation scenarios to present to site visitors. Annotations, fallbacks, and styling can be added to control every element. Users can also create template rules to transform data however they need, and page rules to control which notifications are shown to visitors, and where. The theme builder allows users to customize the branding of Fomo’s pre-made themes, or create fully custom themes using CSS.
Fomo employs machine learning to optimize site visitor conversions, but also provides users with access to more than 30 controls for delays, randomization, maximum notifications per page, and more. Multi-language translations allow users to localize content for visitors in different countries, and advanced IP techniques can be used to prioritize local content. Fomo provides users with insights into how to improve their conversion rate, and offers a scorecard to measure the impact of social proof.
