“I found their online booking user interface a bit complicated for guests to use. Reservations are added to a shopping cart which can hold multiple reservations before checking out, allowing you to purchase everything in one transaction, including retail items like logo t-shirts or gift certificates (and they maintain certificate balances). There is more than one way to reserve a stay, for instance you can book a room from the promo page, or reserve a stay on the booking calendar and apply the promo after the fact, but this adds to the complexity of use. Booking a reservation for guests is feature-rich, handling subtle nuances like a "hold" vs. "quote" and "wait list", as well as various options for fees, add-ons, e-mails, purchasing packages, flagging tax-exempt reservations and so forth. The issue I have is there are so many options, I make mistakes and then I am afraid on how to fix it, and there is no "wizard" you can set up to step you through. Other positives: * The desk and mobile views switch flawlessly depending on the type of user device. * They have a retail function where you can set up an online store to sell logo goods, * There is a full functioning gift certificate function where Resnexus keeps track of how much is remaining on any gift certificate redeemed, * Resnexus is fully compliant for disabled users using their online booking calendar, * The user interface for booking stays is highly configurable: I was able to easily integrate to my own website.”
