The overall experience of having OneDrive is quite pleasant as you have that feeling that your files are safe and that if you have Office on your devices, you can practically review your documents anywhere because you can download them as well. I feel that it is the best value for money in the cloud services market. Being still a student and that my university gives me this type of service, it is great because the collaborative work it provides is excellent and very effective with real-time and synchronization. Very satisfied with this service.
With the easy handling of the different menus, the user-friendly OneDrive is essential for everyone who needs to store their documents, photos, unique information, etc. It can be said that it is suitable for those who need to store heavy files since, with the main plan that is given, the 1 TB is practically enough for anyone who only needs to keep the essentials. Now of course there are more expensive plans, but eventually, these bring more space. Comparing other services, I would say that it is the one that gives you more benefits since you not only have cloud service, you have the whole Office package and unlike the competition, sometimes they only give you the cloud service and even more expensive.
Its little free storage is 5 GB, which is understandable since the user is given this space when creating a Microsoft account, but unlike its strongest competitors, I would say, OneDrive falls quite short.

We had too many files sharing programs and were spending a lot of money. One Drive allowed us to cut our costs and use other options less often at a lower cost of ownership.
What I like most about One Drive is the integration with Microsoft Office and Exchange. It also works very well with Windows file manager.
It used to be harder to share with outsiders unless they had a Microsoft account, but now seems to be fixed. Don't like how it can get crossed with Sharepoint.

The process to store and keep files organized is essential for management functions .
One issues that I do not like is the ongoing plug to add more storage with a fee. Often this information is repeated.

I've used OneDrive for both personal and business setting and i had never had any issues. It comes free with MS365 and i've used it for years. Still the leading service in my opinion.
It is very easy to use and deploy. It's efficient and secure. I am glad i can access all my important and confidential files anytime anywhere.
It does cost something but it's not a lot and it's worth it.

While working solo, none of our users have had any issues working with the software. It works, and it works for them. they can save all their files, they can access from anywhere. They are happy with that. When it comes to sharing and collaborating, that's where we've run into a few issues that the system isn't user friendly enough. Granted, we are trying to replace file server storage with OneDrive, the more technically inclined users have no issues, the less so have more issues. It just isn't user friendly enough for this. Sharing with external users becomes even more troublesome. Again, there just needs to be a few more features on the sharing side. Other than that, it works for us and we are happy with it.
It works. It just work. We need to upload files, we can. We need to download files, we can. We need to share files, we can.
While it works, the features just aren't that great. Yes, we can save to cloud, access from anywhere, download, update. But it's not as easy to share as with other software. We have an easier time with Google Drive. Or even DropBox. But, OneDrive is less expensive considering we are non-profit and use Office 365. The Windows 10 settings for OneDrive are just horrible. There just needs to be more settings available, more features, more configuration on folders settings and permissions.

quick to set up, easy to manage at the admin level. Permissions are simple and applied globally and data is protected and synced, so what else can you ask for.
It's quick, cross-compatible with Mac/PC and a range of other devices. Fully accessible from mobile and tablet. Integrates seamlessly with MS Office products and plugs in with many other collaboration tools easily. It also has the capability to run personal and business versions simultaneously allowing separation of data.
Had a few issues with naming resolution of files that were previously held in google drive but ultimately moving was one of the mid to long-term benefits so worth biting the bullet here.

It has solved a big problem for our firm currently. I would like to see the service becoming better but I am satisfied with the product currently
We are to push the auto sync of data through to all our employees. Helps backup critical data of all users and avoids any inadvertent loss. It also ensures productivity is not lost.
It slows the systems and sucks the bandwidth. I would like it to be more seamless. Sync schedule can be automatic by learning the user usage patterns and setting up at a time when the usage is low.

Most of our users are Windows users and we're very happy with the functionalities to sync, to keep local, to keep in the cloud and to share files
Compared to other storage solutions, such as Google Drive, Dropbox, or Box.com, OneDrive is more cost effective when the volume of users is not large. The functionality and compatibility with Windows is great.
OneDrive has difficulties integrating with Mac. For instance, the context menus that exist in Windows to sync files (in the mouse right-click) does not exist in Mac. This makes it cumbersome to select what files you want to keep in your computer.

I'm pretty sold on OneDrive due to it's key integration across the Office family. I use both Windows and MacOS and have to say MS do need to up their game on their offering to Mac users. The experience is still integrated and seamless but OneDrive interface lacks the depth of its Windows counterpart. Pricing is negated when part of the 365 Suite and you get 1TB too (readers to check at time of reading). Taken on its own, you can probably find cheaper storage solutions per buck but you may lack security and collaboration tools. OneDrive works extremely well on mobile devices too and makes document management on the go, easy. It's ability to collect a file from any PC you've setup a OneDrive folder one is hugely beneficial.
I rate OneDrive highly due to the safe-guarding/keeping features, the straightforward nature of One Drive and the intuitive UI. If you are fully integrated with Office then it provides a seamless experience to connect all Office apps for collaboration and synchronisation. I need files across various devices and OneDrive provides apps for all popular desktop OS's and device. Specific areas in order...
Storage - If you take it as a stand alone I would say that there are better options for storage capacity relative to OneDrive, for price versus storage. I have yet to experience the issue myself, but I have had colleagues who have claimed that they cannot gain access to folders or files that are shared and password protected. OneDrive lets MacOS down with it's less inspiring offering.

The users of the company had some problems with their computers using mechanical hard drives, they often stopped to work, and their files were gone. With the configuration of OneDrive, they have a backup of everything that has modified on their files, also it is possible to access them from different devices, like mobile, tablets and another computer, it became a very good tool for our external Sales team, that always need to share files, presentations for the clients. Therefore, it is very interesting the integration with other Microsoft tools, even with the GPOs that you can set some configurations of OneDrive.
The integration with the Microsoft products is awesome, we can share a file directly from OneDrive to e-mail, SharePoint and Microsoft Teams, it helps to have a unique point where all of your files are located, also, we can setup the software to do a continuous backup of your desktops and notebooks.
The price is expensive for the small companies, specially when you have some products with better price on the market. Other point that needs to be enligheted: it is not so easy to configure it on the users computers, and it cannot backup Outlook .PST files, it could have been a problem for the companies that stores a large amount of e-mails.

OneDrive provides large amounts of seamless, continuous cloud storage at a tremendous value. The integration OneDrive directly into Windows 10 and Microsoft Office make using the software easy and automatic.
OneDrive is cloud storage at its finest. Invisible, light, automatic. Whenever we create documents in the office, we know they are all backed up. Any time we create new media, organizing it for active and archival storage is simultaneous and uncomplicated. Just as arrange and organize files in File Explorer, OneDrive runs behind you making all the changes in the Cloud, making sure everything is...
The customer support for OneDrive is adequate, but we have had a few unresolved issues that were disappointing. For example, OneDrive originally granted users unlimited storage, but Microsoft later revised this cap down to 1TB per account. While this is still sufficient for our current needs, not having to worry about storage limits was a nice comfort of the service. Also, OneDrive can, on occasion, have issues with file previewing with various types of media files. Lastly, OneDrive is most useful with Microsoft ecosystems. Other platforms may not be as smooth in user experience.

Very pleasant, total practicality and ease of use, I quickly got used to handling it, I use it both at home to store personal documents and photos, and at work through the business plan, with a unit, it was easier to edit files and spreadsheets accounts without running the risk of losing or messing with the formatting of the document. With a 15 Gb space offer that can reach 35 Gb free per account and 1Q paid in the plan with a very attractive price, I am satisfied with OneDrive and do not intend to change.
One of the advantages that I found practical and very feasible, was the fact of not having to make the files in the Word, Excel, and PowerPoint template, native files because they are already there, that is, it is available to create or save files in these formats. unlike the competition that we have to turn into native files if we want to extract the full potential of the application from there, another...
I haven't found something really strong yet that makes me dislike the services offered by the unit, maybe the space available in the free modality is equal to the competition. those who cannot work with contracting a plan, but the cost-benefit is good since they are priced based on comparison with other plans, another disadvantage is that despite being on the roadmap to correct these problems, currently, Onedrive does not support files with some special characters (eg% and #) and it is also not possible to import files with names over 256 characters in length. It also has a limit of 20,000 documents.

OneDrive is a good cloud storage solution offered by Microsoft a very reputable organization. Using the product is very easy and straightforward especially when you are using a Windows OS. However, it lacks the innovative features that its smaller competitors like Zoho Workdrive have, such as password protected shared links, and does not offer the same level of security across all its paid plans. More secure plans are more expensive which can work against small business.
OneDrive is built on the Windows operating system so it integrates very well with computers running on the windows operating system. This makes it very easy to switch between OneDrive and windows applications. In particular, using OneDrive is very intuitive when one has experience using a computer running on a windows operating system.
At times document links shared via OneDrive do break and one may actually struggle to access the documents shared via OneDrive links, particularly for video files. Furthermore, OneDrive provides different levels of security. Cheaper paid plans offers lower level of security for sensitive documents so one would need to but extra security separately. Competitors such as Google or Zoho Workdrive offer the same level of security for all paid plans.

Overall, OneDrive is a great cloud storage solution for both individuals and businesses that offers lots of great features, integrations, and ease of use. The only drawbacks are the storage limits and the cost associated with certain plans.
OneDrive is an incredibly user friendly cloud storage solution with excellent features. The ability to store and share files, photos, and videos with ease across multiple devices makes it a great choice for both individuals and businesses. The integration with Office 365 and other Microsoft services makes collaboration easy and efficient.
The pricing for OneDrive can be a bit expensive for some users. The fact that there are certain storage limits depending on the plan can be a bit of a limitation for those who need to store a lot of files.

We can consider it among the best providers of this type of cloud storage services, saving and sharing files, and it is also very good in terms of saving important documents because it provides protection from the loss or damage of any of them
The main benefit from my point of view and what interests me in this program is that you can access the files that you have saved from anywhere so that you can finish what you were working on on your computer from the mobile phone and vice versa. It also has access to all operating systems used, whether on computers or phones, as it can access via Android, iPad, iPhone, Mac, Windows, even on web browsers.The...
The cloud storage capacity for the average user is only 5 GB as a maximum, and if you want to increase the storage capacity than that, you will incur additional fees, which I considered very expensive compared to similar applications, as the competition is strong, otherwise I think it is suitable in all respects.

As someone who relies heavily on cloud storage for both personal and professional use, I can confidently say that OneDrive is one of the best options available. The platform offers a user-friendly interface that makes it easy for me to upload, access, and share my files with others. The seamless integration with Microsoft Office has been a game-changer for my team's ability to collaborate on projects...
In my personal opinion, OneDrive's seamless integration with Microsoft Office is one of the standout features that makes it the best cloud storage option available. This feature allows me to easily collaborate on documents and projects with my team, making it a valuable tool for my professional work. Additionally, the automatic photo-upload feature on mobile devices is a great way for me to easily backup and access pictures while on the go, which is particularly important for me as I take a lot of photos and want to ensure that they are safe and protected.
In my personal opinion, one of the least favorite things about OneDrive is that it can sometimes sync slowly, especially when working with large files or folders. This can be frustrating as it can delay my access to the files I need. Additionally, I've experienced some issues with the automatic photo-upload feature, such as it not working properly or duplicating files which can be frustrating.Another downside I've noticed is that the free plan of OneDrive only provides 5GB of storage, which may not be enough for me, especially since I have a lot of files and videos.Lastly, I also find that the features and functionality of OneDrive can be overwhelming for me. While the platform is designed to be user-friendly, it takes time for me to learn all the features and settings.

It is very simple to use and set up. Since it is under MS 365, it improves business processes at a reasonable level thanks to its easy distribution and licensing feature. It provides freedom to users and provides cost advantage by minimizing hardware needs.
Before we met OneDrive, we had to manage and implement many processes for copying, storing, and accessing our data and some of our files in a secure environment. moreover, we had to do this separately for each user. After activating OneDrive, we can store our data by moving it here, authorize it, control it remotely, and work at the same time. It provides us with the area we need for all these processes. Moreover, many features are available under a single program.* Possibility to work locally or remotely* 1TB of space for backup* Data security and file sharing* User privileges and access permissions* Ability to work on PC or Online Browser* Synchronization feature* Mobile, Android, MacOS or PC platform supportThanks to it, it can be used safely in any environment.
There may be some slowdowns in the synchronization of very large data depending on your internet connection.

I used to hate Sharepoint, but now it's all moved into OneDrive I've realised I can work faster and smarter with this and the online Office365 tools, keep the licence costs low, and collaborate with pretty much anyone on the planet, as well as having all my files safely backed up at all times. Once you get your head around it, you forget how amazing it all is, and take it for granted.
I love the fact that once set up backups just happen and you don't need to even think about it, if your PC goes pop, it's not going to be a problem as everything is in the cloud. For document storage, file sharing and document collaboration Microsoft have finally caught up with Google, and it all works fairly seamlessly with the Office365 set of tools.
It can cause confusion between a file being on your local PC, in the cloud, or in both, or moving from a local folder to the cloud and therefore into the OneDrive folder, which can make it difficult to explain to new users of OneDrive. But if set up correctly at first it just works very well generally.

In general I have worked very well with OneDrive, while all my work fits in that TB of storage, it is easy to use, although a bit annoying when saving 365 documents (I deactivate it), sharing is also easy, and it is safe to store the data, but I still say that 1TB, with no opportunity to increase it, seems unrealistic at this point.
It is a fairly cheap service/application, even more so when it is already integrated with Microsoft 365, both for private users and for companies. But speaking exclusively of OneDrive, I could also say that it is easy to implement, manage and use.
Every day our files get bigger, resolutions get better every day, and as storage gets cheaper, we store more and more data. A home user who is fond of video will quickly find that 1TB is not enough, and there is no option to increase the storage capacity!Tired of having several accounts on my PC to get that 1TB from each of them, I have had to contract other services and do without using OneDrive, having both private and company licenses and to manage my clients' storage.

Use it daily to backup files, to maintain image libraries that are used many times, to maintain the list of installable programs - in case you need to restore your computer quickly, in addition to synchronizing work, documents and bills between stations .
I love the integration it has with Windows and Office, and the fact that I can pay for onedrive+office at once. Also great is the amount of space relative to cost and overall performance.
An option is missing for you to protect certain folders. It assumes that if you have authorized a computer to access the account's drive application, it is authorized to access everything. It shouldn't be like that, it's a failure of other virtual drives as well. I should be able to say that folder A has files for all stations and folder B has files only for finance, for example.

Overall, I have switched, I think permanently to the OneDrive. A terabyte of space is more than I need and at a very competitive price. It works! What more could I ask for?
I purchased the Microsoft 365 bundle, which included 1 TB of space on OneDrive. It was seamlessly backing up all of my pictures and videos. Then when I discovered the other features, I became a strong proponent of this software. I used Google Drive almost exclusively for years and years. I also see Microsoft is going to up their game and improve OneDrive. The price was fantastic and the features are all I need.. in addition Google Drive is starting to charge more money for their cloud storage. I love Microsoft 365, combined with OneDrive, I cannot see myself being a paid customer for Google's cloud storage anymore.
For sure, they can develop a few more features within the platform. I know this is already in the works. In addition, they are beginning to integrate and make file sharing easy from the OneDrive application and browser. So if they continue to develop these elements of seamless file sharing and add a few more features with playing media, etc. They are going to gain a phenomenal client base.

It has enabled me mostly backup my data on cloud storage and therefore access easily, anywhere and anytime even if my device gets damaged my data doesn't get lost. It is the best tool have ever used for storing my files on the cloud.
First is its ease of access, once you save your files there you can get or access them anytime, anywhere and from any device. Another thing is about its security, nobody can access your OneDrive account unless he or she has your login credentials and not only that it uses two step authentication to confirm if you are really the owner of that account. Its security is so intense in that one can encrypt a file that he or she shares to you so that you must have a decryption key for you to access it. Another is its interface, it can run on different devices that is both android and windows and even using it is not hard. Lastly is its speed, compared to other related alternatives, OneDrive works really faster and effective.
Even though it comes with free version with allows you to save your data up to 5GB, I would prefer to get more space since there are many things I would like to save but you have to subscribe to more storage plans and its not that cheap. I don't have much negative about this software since it takes into account most of my expectations only that sometimes the file shared through that platform may be corrupted and maybe may not open.

For cloud storage and file sharing, this is seriously the best and most affordable option. I LOVE IT!
The price is great - I get it with my $7/month Microsoft. You get 1TB of storage. it's easy to upload photos from your iPhone. It's great for cloud storage. I love it for managing projects and organizing files together with clients.
The search kinda stinks - you can't just search in one folder, which is strange. The user interface takes a little time to get used to. None of the cons outweigh all the pros though.

The only file-storage that I can actually use with my Windows 10 in S Mode laptop. Sure, I know I can exit the S mode, but for security purposes I keep it on. And yet, OneDrive is my only option as an app. I still use the web version option of other tools, but it's not the same since they lack the sync functionality. At least it's pretty cheap considering you get all the other Microsoft 365 tools....
The best feature of OneDrive is the synchronization with all other Microsoft 365 tools and apps. It works great for that purpose and really makes my workflow go smooth and simple. And together there are a ton of features and combinations, which if you like options, you'll get them here. I use it mostly for work document management, not for large file storages like videos or photos. So it's mostly for the paperwork side of work. There are a lot of features for this, and using it in conjunction with the other apps, makes the features even more. So this is both a good thing and a bad thing (as it can get overwhelming).
There are so many features of this and synchronizing it with other tools that it's overwhelming. I still don't know everything it does and how it could all work together after years of using it. And sometimes it's confusing because I accidentally do something, and it does something I didn't expect, then I don't know how to make it back, so I end up watching youtube video tutorials on fixing it or figuring...
