We've been with them for several years, and the value you receive is top-notch for this type of service. We have reviewed at least 10 of them over the years and have stayed with Birdeye since they provide great support.
One of the best things about Birdeye is the customer service. Our agency rep [sensitive content hidden] has been spot on answering our questions and getting resolutions to any issues we have. He has also been very supportive, providing assets to help us grow.Our clients would most likely not have a review system in place without us bringing a solution to the table, and Birdeye has allowed us to provide this comprehensive solution to help build our client pages on social platforms.
There are some small glitches with the connections, but that seems like an issue with a lot of platforms that are using API connections. You have to monitor your connections to make sure everything is still running smoothly. The monthly recap is a great way to identify missing connections but you still need to make sure things are connected properly.

Fantastic. Their support has been super helpful with any questions or troubleshooting needed. This has produced significant results for client form generating positive reviews, to managing negative reviews, to responding to all reviews, to growing a businesses local SEO presence. The list goes on. I highly recommend BirdEye to agencies and businesses.

I have been working with BirdEye for about 24 months now with multiple clients. I was on the team to originally decide on BirdEye as the reputation management platform for a large medical company. I have since moved on to build a digital marketing agency and recommend BirdEye for any brick-and-mortar business.
I like the performance. I have worked and continue to work with clients with 1 - 250 different locations with BirdEye, and the growth my clients have achieved is incredible. From the ease of use to the pure engagement rate, everything functions well to drive high-quality leads to businesses, resulting in more and more business.[
Paying the bill? I mean, if it was free I would like it more. However, the cost is affordable for the benefits it provides. I would love if they had capabilities to work with eCommerce clients to drive product reviews as well.

As stated above, my office selected BirdEye to boost our online reviews and online presence, in which, BirdEye perfectly pulled that off. Our office reviews skyrocketed thanks to BirdEye. My office stopped using BirdEye when we discovered another product for a much lower price point with more features.
BirdEye integrates with your dental software and helped our office boost our reviews on Facebook, Google, and all other social media sites. At the end of the business day, BirdEye texts all of our patients and gives them a route to easily post reviews about their office visit, which absolutely helped us gain reviews and online presence. The best part about this software is the dashboard that allows users to see review statistics. The customer service for this company is excellent.
The pricing. The pricing for BirdEye is way too expensive for the features provided.

Birdeye has been great and has brought value to my clients and my company. They continue to evolve and stay up to date with the needs of the ever changing digital marketing world.
I like the review request campaigns. I like creating different templates and customizing settings. I like that I can view contact journeys and see how my clients interacted with the review request.
Looking forward to more reporting features. These should be fully customizable, schedulable and savable.

Birdeye might be useful for those doing only monitoring. For those who want to generate reviews they are inconsistent and have no value add. ROI is 0%.
Birdeye lured us in with promises, but they didn't deliver. They are the master of the hard pitch but in the end they get you to pay a lot of money for almost no value added. Actually none in our case. For a review company it does not have the ability to externally review it on google, facebook, or almost any other third party sites I can find. The whole organization used birdeye. However, birdeye was in fact not useful because it did not do what was promised. We were not able to have google reviews as part of our survey. We were not able to link to our third party rating websites that we needed to. The purchase was not useful and then they ignored us when we asked for our money back.

Would like to understand which site you were not able to aggregate into your account. Concerning your surveys, Google does have a policy that you can not review gate, and we adhere to all Google policies as to not put your business at risk. Overall, we are quite pleased with Birdeye and plan to use their local listings service for years to come. The pricing is very competitive and we feed very comfortable with our rep. There are lots of other features that we hope to take advantage of in the future.
The cost for local listings management is very competitive, which is what initially drew us to Birdeye. We have come to find that Birdeye provides incredible customer service. Our rep is quick to respond and always very friendly and enthusiastic. There are many other features available that we are currently not using yet, but are interested in -- most notably review management using AI.
For the local listings management service, there are multiple groupings of directory listings that can be chosen from. This was not explained to us initially, so we went with the default one that we were assigned -- assuming we were being synced to all directories. Eventually, we realized that we were not being synced to all directories and we chose a different grouping then what we originally were assigned.

Their platform has its uses, but there are other options with much better customer support and that don't just see you as money.
It provides a single page to see various messaging platforms (Facebook, Instagram, SMS, etc.). So, we can see all in one page, instead of having to go to different platforms.The Reviews page is nice. You can link your third-party review pages (Facebook, Google, BBB, etc.) and have one single link that provides the customer the opportunity to review your business in the platform of their choosing. You can also see the amount of reviews you achieved in certain periods (months, quarters, years), and provides you the ability to establish a goal of number of reviews (ex. 25 reviews in a month).
The messaging page becomes a cluttering mess if you have multiple users working the messages. You can assign chats to a certain user, but in the main page (where you see all messages) you still get the mess of every chat even if it's already assigned. So, it becomes messy, enough to uninspire you to work with the platform.The mass text messages feature creates a total chaos in the messages window when...

Our patients are walking advertisements for our office and Birdeye has been the best method to voice their opinions.
The benefits outweigh the cost. Using Birdeye has increased our presence socially and physically. One of the best investments I made in our office. Can't say enough about the benefits and the ease of using this product.
I was hesitant at first to do business with someone who is across the states and would only communicate by phone or email. Little did I know, the staff goes out of their way to answer any questions and if a problem arises and we need assistance, they are on top of the issues quick. I wish I knew about Birdeye sooner. For overall reputation management Birdeye is great, when review requests are sent out. I feel like sometimes this is hit or miss. It's like when we get closer to renewal time we start to get reviews but in the midyear it drys up and we get nothing.
I like that it allows us to request and receive reviews for Google, we also get text messaging through the app with Birdeye but we have to physically generate the messages.
We can not get any automated text message reminders through Birdeye, we want a service provider for this service. There are other features but they are at an additional cost. Also one of the Birdeye employees was badgering me to sign a two year contract instead of our usual one year contract. And he charged my credit card for additional fees as well without my knowledge.

Overall, very happy. Good value for the money.
This is a great tool that allows you to funnel reviews across the review sites where you need the the most. The greatest feature of this system is its ability to direct people with an inclination to provide negative sentiment to an internal response channel, while sending people likely to respond in a positive way to the site or sites where you most want or need reviews. The system directly integrates to well over 100 industry specific review platforms which makes it very convenient to push reviews to the platforms where your clients will most likely seek out reviews.
It is a bit quirky in that you have to be very exact in setting it up so it matches your title and description in Google My Business.

Easy to setup and use. They have a large set of free resources to help you get the most out of their product. You can monitor just about every review site you can think of. It notifies you of reviews so you can easily reply to them. It also has other helpful features like business listing management so your business listings are the same. You can also get their interactions product to help you connect with customers. The reporting and analytics is easy to use and understand.
as new features come out they usually cost extra and are not bundled in.

My overall experience has been mostly positive. I like the the flexibility the platform offers, but I think their pricing and their response times on certain things could be improved.
Birdeye allows you the flexibility to send out messages at different times and also allows you to customize the SMS message and email and include branding/logos of the business it is coming from.
I think the cost of the Review Solicitation & Management product is too high compared to other competitors in the space.

Good experience. Seems to have great customer support. Integration is not too difficult and features outweigh other platforms. Price was not bad. Would recommend to others.
HIPPA compliant messaging via text messaging and email. The ability to integrate reviews on different channels and listings management included. Customer support seems very good.
The review widget was difficult to implement onto our website due to Birdeye's code. Also, originally was told Facebook instant forms would auto populate in the Birdeye system but was later told it does not. No a big deal but would have loved to have that included. It also took longer to set everything up than expected.

They have shown poor ethics in the wake of the pandemic.
They were good for us before the pandemic. But since then, not so much. Their 104% price increase at a time when we and so many other Small Businesses are just starting to see some recovery is unconscionable.
When we contacted BirdEye post-pandemic to restore our subscription to their service, we were told we'd have to pay more than double our prior premium. We originally chose BirdEye for their reputation for small-business-centric features and service. But now it's obvious they have become a ruthless profiteer from the pandemic with little regard for the customer base who helped them grow.

Wanted to get reviews from customers for our business. The product did an ok job at this.
The product works as advertised, even though there are competitors that are far cheaper.
They nag you constantly about upselling different features. They call frequently to offer "support", but it is really just sales. They notify you about EVERYTHING except when it is time for billing renewal, which they do automatically with no notification, no way to cancel, etc. Really irritating service and deceptive billing.

I tested out different review software before choosing Birdeye for my business. Birdeye stood out above the rest of the competition right away. Initially I felt the cost was high but have found it to be worth the investment. The software is user friendly and the support is amazing when I do have an issue. My favorite feature is just how easy it is to request a review from our clients and I LOVE simply texting our clients appointment reminders and allowing them to text our office since texting is the preferred method of communication these days!
I wish we could download the software on our desktop so that we could keep team chat open as well as the ability to shoot out review links quickly after each appointment. I dont like that it times out and I have to continue to login to read a message, send a review or start a team chat which is a new feature were going to start using.

Our experience wasn't bad. We got what we paid for. It is just that the software is on the extreme end of being overpriced. (For our purposes.) And it was pretty annoying when they started to call our clients individually, but I suppose that should be expected to a certain extent.
The software works. They keep it updated. It is easy to use. They pay attention to the industry and make changes when necessary. Whenever we had a customer service issue, the problem was resolved.
Even with the discount they give agencies, it is still expensive for low volume small businesses. I can see the value for a higher volume business. But most of our clients only had 3-5 reviews to request per month. We were able to find an alternative that works just as well but at a far lower price. (We can offer all of our clients this service for the cost of a single client with BirdEye.) If you...

Birdeye worked well enough for review management. I think that everything they do can be done in zapier or high level for about 1/10th the cost.
The contract states that it is 12 months. Ok fine. HOWEVER- it auto renews and they won't let you cancel until the next 12 months. It's worse than a big box gym membership. And guess what?? It's a total scam because once everything is set up in birdeye (which I did btw- not them), it's set and forget. Meaning- they are doing nothing to contribute to the value of their initial offering. Which is fine- but don't keep me hostage to some insane contract.

It's OK. I'm frustrated that there are no learning modules to take a new Admin User or Owner through the basic setup and functionality. It's an easy interface on the surface - but much to learn by plowing through Help Topics one-by-one or opening a Support ticket for each issue I encounter...
Fairly easy user interface - although sometimes at the cost of functionality (or self-customization). Nice dashboard for our Clients to view their Reviews and Reports if they want.
Not easy to pull reports with every view I want (without making a "feature request" to add that report or view that I want. Also, Help topics are not nearly detailed enough to describe why to click ON/OFF each setting option (for instance) - and what impact that would have for functionality or user control (or notification).

I have had nothing but a positive experience with Birdeye, their product is extremely helpful and their support team is quick and responsive.
What I love about Birdeye is their relevance. They are able to help small companies stay relevant and ranked on Google by providing an easier way to acquire reviews.
Personally I do not have any cons for the product other than the price is not available to smaller companies who this may be the most useful and necessary for.
