What is Forecast?

Forecast is an AI-powered resource scheduling & project management solution designed for agencies with time tracking, automation, and integration. Using artificial intelligence (AI) Forecast aims to learn from its users and automate the scheduling, setup, and management of projects. By providing users with tools for collaboration, workflow management, scheduling, estimating, reporting, time tracking, deadline tracking, and more, Forecast is designed to help businesses deliver projects on time and within budget.

With a focus on making projects profitable, Forecast provides tools to enhance productivity and planning such as task delegation, labelling, task cards, and project overviews with completion tracking, deadlines, and budget and spend data. Tasks, known as cards within Forecast, can be assigned to individuals or teams and can be organized into to-do lists or a drag and drop Kanban workflow to aid with planning. Custom workflows can be setup to align with business processes, and the calendar is available in Gantt chart format to give a quick overview of upcoming tasks and allow for easy adjustment.

Forecast facilitates collaboration for team projects through features such as commenting, @mentioning, emojis, and labelling, and the project tab gives users an overview of who is doing what and how much time is being spent on each task compared with estimates. The scheduling tool allows users to plan resources using a drag and drop interface, or automatically using machine learning, to allocate team members to tasks based on their availability and skills.

Time and spend can be tracked within Forecast using tools such as the in-built timer, manual time entry, deadline tracking, milestones, budget setup, and AI estimates. Forecast uses artificial intelligence and machine learning to aid users with creating accurate estimates for each project, and time and spend can be reported within the app to monitor budgets alongside estimates.

increased staff efficiency , better communication with clients and delivering projects smoother within budgets

Pros
I trailed around 7/8 different project management softwares over a 6-month period, the main problem was i needed both project management and resource management which proved really hard to find. Either one was good at one and not the other etc but finding forecast really dealt with all my needs and although its taken 6 months to get all the data in and staff using effectively, the benefits have been fantastic. Projects are running smoother and we can control the budgets better.

Cons
There isnt much i find wrong with this software and the team are really good at taking on board our ideas and requests, i think the scheduling could be improved a little, but the forecast team are always looking to improve on a great product and im sure they will continue to improve.

From day 1 the experience with the Forecast tool and the Forecast team has been excellent. Its clear that this is by no means a finished product which gives us users the flexibility to request new features with the knowledge we will be listened to. I look forward to a long relationship with the Forecast team

Forecast initially catered for a very specific agency type business model that didn't fit with relayrs business model however through constant improvements and feedback the tool is getting closer to what is expected

Pros
This software automates a lot of things in our planning / controlling / time reporting. If there are ever any problems, the outstanding customer support will gladly help out.

Cons
The API could you an OpenAPI / Swagger specification to make integrations slightly easier.

Pros
It has features that I couldn't find in any other service. Such as being able to manage reasorces across multiple projects, but not just by task also in high level

Cons
Not fully "baked" yet. A lot of small bugs and missing some small nice to have features

With Forecast we are easily able to plan our architectural projects and meet deadlines and stay within the allotted budgets. Forecast is consistently updating with new features and addons.

Pros
Forecast's customer support is one of the best I have ever had to work with. Second would be the ease of use for staff to help plan out projects and timelines.

Cons
Sometimes parts don't work correctly but they are quick to fix the issues.
