Slack is our primary means of communicating as a team. We try to keep all internal communication in Slack. The fact that Monday integrates with Slack is perfect because we set it up to automatically notify us in Slack of anything we need to know about in Monday. So, if a project gets moved into my court in Monday, I get a Slack notification. If a new job is created in Monday, a new channel is created in Slack for that job automatically. This way we don't have information spread out in many different places. We can keep communication in one program so we always know where to find it.

There are many reasons why the integration of slack with Monday.com is important. Some of these reasons include:1. It allows for better communication between team members.2. It makes it easier to keep track of tasks and progress.3. It helps to keep everyone on the same page.4. It can save time by eliminating the need for multiple meetings.

I love that I get a notification in Slack when something is assigned to me or a project is complete and I’m tagged in something because then I know right away because my slack is always up.

Slack is our main internal messaging system, it's important for us to receive any monday.com notifications through Slack too.

We integrateed Slack to send automatic notifications to Sales Directors when they need to approve a commission payout.

Wow, so helpful when teammates tag or add something new. I just get a notification instead of having to go and check.

Monday.com doesn't do conversations well, so having access to Slack keeps our team members talking and up-to-date.

It was crucial as it automated with MO to reduce redundancy in calendaring and communication, saving the team hours and streamline more effective communication.

Having tasks and email notifications go into this Microsoft product is one of the primary ways it reminds people of what they need to do.

You have to be able to integrate with your e-mail and calendar. This is crucial to the effectiveness of the management features.

We integrated Outlook so I could turn email requests from Sales Reps directly into items on my 'Dispute Resolution' board.

I use this to send automated emails, but the integration frequently turns off and there is no warning that it has done so.

It allowed us to send project updates to business users as projects moved through the lifecycle.

We want to send emails from our inboxes in outlook, so we need this integration to do this.

It automates multiple meetings that gives me an ability to add meeting notes every session.

This is how we communicate with our clients, and we also receive notifications by email.

You can only move one way but that's probably Outlooks fault, its the worst after all.

The initial stages of projects are standardly started in Google Sheets and all other documentation for the project is stored in Google Drive - all of which is easily sorted into the correct project chart via Monday.

I love how when you share google drive files it allows for a preview to show reducing the amount of bouncing in and out of the platform which creates more productivity.

I've been storing my files here, most of my life is in there. I like the fact that I can loose my phone or laptop but with just signing in everything comes back.

It is essential because all the company files are in Google drive, but it doesn't display the right way when you try to add files from google drive directly

This integration allowed me to connect important documents to project tasks so I could easily find what I needed in one spot.

This allows us to share documents and leave comments with real-time updates and notes inside of the Monday.com software.

Wow, so helpful when teammates tag or add something new. I just get a notification instead of having to go and check.

The Gmail integration would have been really nice if there was an easy way to set up html emails directly in Monday. However, there just doesn't seem to be a good way to do any html text in any Monday columns, which makes it hard to use it for any important tasks. I don't want to send an automated email to a client that's just boring text. I want it to be a high quality, professional html email. The good news is that I can accomplish this by using Zapier, so it's fine. But it would be nice to be able to do this directly through Monday.

With most of the clients I work with, we implement a leads board to manage the opportunity, and often we are reaching out by email to establish that we are interested in the opportunity, having this in one place where we can reference the notes and details and track the interaction is super resourceful.

It allows one to use and reap the benefits of both Gmail and Monday.com, to align, invite and connect with my team (members). I was able to transform emails into instructions for my members.

If you happen to forget to check in at monday.com, you'll always have an email sitting there to remind you and once all is none, you're notified in Gmail, pretty awesome

The ability to click on a client's email and have the pop-up occur was needed to reduce steps in copy/paste to another browser.

Emails get attached directly to relevant items. You can even automate a bunch of things. Very convenient.

Combining Zapier and Monday basically lets you automate anything you can possibly imagine. They both come with very powerful automations, so between the two of them, you are almost guaranteed to find something that will work for you. My goal is to eventually figure out how to automate everything I do and not tell my boss and retire in the mountains while still collecting a paycheck. Maybe that's a bit too much to hope for. But between Monday and Zapier, it seems almost possible.

We use Zapier to feed form submissions from Gravity Forms into various boards in Monday.com. It has automated so many of our old manual processes and made departments more efficient overall.

It enables integrations that we previously thought impossible, meaning we can stay on Monday.com to do everything we want - no need for multiple tabs or windows!

For the times where Monday's own integrations aren't present, there's always an option with Zapier

We used Zapier to create automations that communicated updates and actions from board updates.

Our project managers utilize this to assign tasks and integrate with other services.

It would be so nice if we could integrate Dropbox with Monday. However (at no fault of Monday's), Dropbox doesn't let us do any integration with Teams folders. It integrates just fine with personal folders, but won't connect to teams. That makes it completely useless because obviously we need to use our teams folders when working as a business. Dropbox needs to change this. But it's not Monday's fault. Dropbox has this same problem with Zapier and other software. It's obviously their own dumb fault.

Very frustrating with the issues we'd run into with the integrations we had, but loved how many integrations were available for use, which streamlined a number of workflows and communication issues. Dropbox especially was critical for our projects.

I appreciate how dropbox organizes and integrates within the Monday platform. It's super easy to utilize for outlining assets for projects.

A lot of our info (creative and logistics) live in Dropbox, so integration is important.

Events, mails, alerts, documents are usually integrated in other softwares. It is necessary to connect all this to the project management tool.

Google docs is free which ultimately beat out Monday.com. I began to really dive into the entire Google suite and save the extra pennies from ending my membership with Monday.com. I have my qualms about Google, however, it is free and that is something that really swayed me over to them. It is hard to beat free, especially in the beginning stages of a business when every penny counts and man hours are monitored closely.

When you want to go into detail on a project or process we are often creating this content in google docs, then being able to link this into a monday.com project is key in keeping everything within one place. Making monday.com the single source.

We create documentation of SOP's through Google Docs and then import it into Monday to make it readily accessible.

it makes it faster to go to the relevant google folder when it's integrated and also saves space.
