User opinions about Dropbox Business price and value

Value for money rating:

Of 171 reviews that provide robust commentary on Dropbox Business's price and value, 58% mention it in a positive light.

Some reviewers feel that Dropbox Business offers good value for money, especially with its advanced plan that includes features like single sign-on (SSO) integration and priority support. Users appreciate the ability to share plans with team members, access unlimited storage, and transfer large documents, which they find cost-effective. They also value the ability to use the same account on multiple devices without extra charges. Reviewers indicate that the free version, despite its limited storage, allows users to test most functionalities before deciding to upgrade. Some users report that the pricing plans are reasonable and offer a good deal for the storage and features provided.

However, some users say that Dropbox Business can be expensive, especially when compared to other cloud storage solutions like Google Drive or Microsoft OneDrive. They find the free version's storage capacity insufficient and the cost of upgrading to a paid plan high. Reviewers mention that the pricing can become less competitive as storage needs increase, making it less accessible for small businesses with limited budgets. Some users think that the lack of intermediate storage options between the free and paid plans is a drawback. They also note occasional syncing issues and limited tools for direct file cooperation as areas needing improvement.

“One drawback of Dropbox Business is that it can become costly as you scale up and require more storage. While it offers great features, larger teams might find the pricing less competitive compared to some alternatives.”

Slack and Dropbox Buisness both keep our work files/messages in one place and easily accessible. This saves a lot of time and makes us more efficient. It also helps us communicate clearly to all team members so everyone stays up to date.

It's important to be able to communicate as we work together on dropbox business! I love using the two together!

We share Dropbox files to slack, unfortunately Dropbox Business doesn't have adequate communication tools

It allows for our team to share work with each other for easier collaboration and communication.

It sets reminders to members. Like reminding team members that there is a new file to view.

Keeps everyone in the know without junking up chat threads with long, annoying URLs

I get to connect with buddies without leaving that space and get team work done

It is important because it allows users to access and share Dropbox files directly from Microsoft Teams, Outlook and Office. This makes collaboration and file management easier, as users can work with all documents and files in one place, without having to switch between multiple applications. In addition, the integration allows users to view Dropbox files directly in Teams or Outlook, which is helpful when dealing with large or complex documents. The integration also allows you to search for Dropbox files from within Microsoft Office, making it easy to find what you need.

Real time collaboration is excellent. Whether it's reviewing Word docs or checking off transactions on Excel, Documents work is done better and faster when it's being done through Dropbox and the fast sync feature between computers.

In Spain it is what is most used, Windows and Office, it is essential to be able to work with the types of documents most used by customers and suppliers, and the integration is really simple, it does not take more than a minute.

The integrations save a few steps when saving and opening files. This might not sound like a lot, but every bit helps especially during those hectic periods.

I use this a lot for myself personally and it serves me pretty well for all the things I need it for.

The most popular business app suite, allowing for work between collaborators.

The integration between Dropbox Business and Google Drive is important because it allows real-time cloud coverage, access, and editing capabilities available at zero-cost and consistent uptime.

Google Drive works much like Dropbox Business. They both get the job done, but the interface for Dropbox seems more user-friendly and easier to navigate.

Some customers need files on Google Drive and I use external connections to sync files.
