Virtual Metric SQL performance monitoring is a cloud-based server and database monitoring solution that provides businesses with tools to avoid performance issues, gain insights into key SQL metrics and enhance capacity planning operations. Key features include database and server monitoring, inventory and change tracking, an integrated log analyzer, and smart alerts and notifications.

With Virtual Metric, IT administrators are able to gather real-time insights on issues and combine that data with detailed performance reports to quickly improve performance and health issues. Administrators are also able to monitor the execution of stored procedures and uncover execution times and the number of I/O read/writes. In addition, Virtual Metric monitors several critical SQL metrics such as deadlocks, buffer cache, and transactions.

Administrators can monitor all changes within the physical infrastructure and visualize these changes on integrated graphs and charts. Using smart alerts and notifications, administrators are able to track all changes with set custom rule-based notifications and query-based alerts. With Virtual Metric's log analyzer, log files can be monitored and analyzed to identify the root cause of bad configurations, low system performance and any potential security risks.
