I love using Asana to manage my business. We literally have everything we're planning to do on there. From stuff like sourcing and logistics, to marketing, we use it to manage our projects in various areas of our work. It's intuitive and easy to set up, and it's got a lot of features for small businesses to log and plan their projects. Would definitely recommend overall.

EXCELLENT task management, but not worth paying for Premium features. 

Asana is a powerful tool for project & task management. It offers features designed to improve team collaboration and productivity. 

A great project management tool 

I have used several project management software and this is the  tool that seems to be most popular and  functional with  cross functional teams. Very few hiccups in the  user experience. There are more expensive softwares with many more functions...but Asana is very proficient to get the job done for small and large teams or organizations

Asana Most helpful in Project Management

It used to be very positive, not it is just a money-hungry disappointment.

Where or where did my old Asana go? It went greedy.

After years of using Asana, I can say that my experience with this software is generally positive, Simply it is an effective tool for managing tasks and projects.


Asana is the best software I have ever used in Project/work management field .

Asana is one of the best alternatives that can currently be found in the project manager category when looking for a solution as a small or medium-sized business. It has everything you need, a large number of integrations, an excellent free tier, and paid plans that are within the reach of any small business. The user interface is simple and intuitive, so anyone, whether or not they have experience with this type of application, will feel comfortable navigating the options available to them.

It's a great piece of software and in another organisation I think I could have happily adopted it. However, it wasn't the right fit for our organisation or our users. 

Awesome software but we couldn't get people to adopt it.

Good! Asana is not as difficult to get the hand out with. I did manage to set-up all my tasks and projects personally. Though, I haven't used it for a long time when I did tested Monday.com. 

Best choice or good alternative

I was awarded a small but important project for my department, as it could bring significant benefit to the business in the future if managed in an optimally way.
Instead of relying on the many rounds of emails that are exchanged between project managers and other people involved, I decided to simply proceed to create a project on Asana Basic. 
The first time I used It. 
This allowed us to keep track of everything that matters, giving us an overview of where we are going.
Asana allowed us to monitor the workflows on our teams and see the progress of the work at any time, saving endless updating meetings. Time we all know how crucial it is.

 Asana is a great task management tool

Overall, experimenting with Asana has been a great option. It has a low price point and the functionality that it offers for that price is definitely a steal. If your organization is looking for a tool that gets the basics done, it’s a great choice. It’s beautiful and easy to use and that’s what it advertises. Unfortunately, for larger organizations that have more team members or complex projects, it is not robust enough to handle those kinds of needs. 

A gorgeous modern tracking system

I love the fact that I can manage my Branding and Website design clients along with my social media management clients all in one space. I very rarely get emails from my clients now and all communication and planning take place in Asana. This seems to save me a lot of time and energy and stops certain requests and tasks from getting lost in lengthy emails.
Being able to keep track of tasks within big projects is SUCH a game-changer. My clients and I are always on the same page and can always see where we are within the project.
For my social media management clients – having one space I can manage them all and see all their content calendars is a huge benefit. Using tasks to plan the month and each post – assign to my client for approval – then reassigned back to me to be posted has really streamlined my workflow.


Asana is the most important online tool I use for my Business.

I think Asana is one of the best project management tool for a one person especially in its free plan. I speed up my work a lot during the time I was using Asana, and it also helped me to collaborate with two team mates. But when it comes to make a step higher (for example if you need a proper collaboration with your team or if you want to customize it better) the paid plan is not so cheap and it offers less than other tools.

best option for those who want a free tool

My overall experience as a Business Development Specialist using Asana is really great. It was introduced to me and my colleague back in October of 2020. We are able to consolidate all of our task progress reports from many spreadsheets and offline notepads. We are able to spend more on planning our strategy and action plans because of lots of time that we are able to save with this business tool.

It’s a good software I can recommend for both starters and existing companies who're struggling with project management and task assignments. Even beginners can easily adapt to this because of tips appearing on the screen, I believe those are really designed as tutorials for new users. The  only thing is that we haven’t tried yet if it works if there will be 10 or more collaborators.

Very Useful and Affordable Project Management Software

 Unlike other platforms, Asana is much more efficient when working and carrying out your projects, not only because of the quality of its interface and the excellent function of its tools. from carrying out a project to a task and subtasks it is really easy and very professional. They haven't fallen into the trend of making everything bubbly and cartoonish like other platforms.  Asana has also helped to eliminate the cost of other tools, since many additional features are built in. 

Great, robust tool for project management

Like I mentioned, Asana is one of the tools I naturally use everyday, and often encourage other colleagues or students to use as well. It is my to-do list as well as my project tracker, collaboration tracker, and "don't forget to do this/brainstorms for the future" tracker

Excellent for self-tracking or collaborative work

Asana has been exceptional since my company first started using it. In the past year, Asana has been the backbone of my team's work collaboration as we have been working remotely as a result of the Covid 19 pandemic. Asana offers excellent functionality, reliability, value for money and I would highly recommend it.
