What is My Clients Plus?

My Clients Plus is a cloud-based practice management and electronic health record (EHR) solution designed for mental health providers and practices. The platform includes tools for managing client records, appointments, electronic billing, teletherapy, and more.

Key benefits of using My Clients Plus

  • Uploaded files, electronic intake forms, and insurance cards can be attached directly to client records, and digitized health records enable the direct addition of comments and notes.

  • Client billing can be managed online, with support for electronic billing of primary and secondary insurances, out-of-network client billing, automatic electronic remittance advice (ERA), electronic claim status tracking, and credit card payment processing.

  • More than 200 therapy note templates are built-in, including DAP and SOAP formats, with users able to customize note names and headings, and electronically sign and lock notes when completed.

  • Daily, weekly, and monthly recurring tasks can be assigned to users, and labelled based on their importance, allowing staff to view and manage their personal and work-related to-do lists.

    Pros
    We have used MCP for ten years and have been very happy with the program. MCP is very user friendly and has fantastic customer support, always available for any and all questions.
    I love that you can copy and paste your previous note so it saves some time on your documentation. I also love that you can bill electronically through the system- easy, simply, amazing.
    Nothing is too great or too small to deal with. The company has available, knowledgeable, friendly and helpful employees who go above and beyond any other software vendor I've ever worked with.
    Cons
    Occasionally, I will enter the pay now in error, or make an error between therapists. I am not always able to go back into the system and remove the transaction, after the fact.
    I had initially experienced frustration with the service, but due to my accidentally signing with another service, thinking it was this service.
    Nothing, maybe adapting to changes, but there are always options and lots of warning before any changes occur.

    My Clients Plus is best product on the market.

    My company has been associated with My Clients Plus for the past 11 years and services over 180 practices across the nation. During that period of time, we've had the opportunity to change software vendors that offered incentives and benefits that MCP didn't offer at that time. However, we never made a change because of the ability to MCP improve their product in order to improve on what their...

    Pros

    The learning curve, the ease of use and most importantly the service the company provides it's users.

    Cons

    There is nothing I can think of. Any time there has been a concern, MCP does whatever it takes to resolve the issue as quickly as possible.

    Pros

    If you are a psychiatrist and have been disappointed by EPIC, please look at my clients plus. You can format your own templates and use them easily. The data is stored offsite, so you don't need to worry about fires or floods destroying your computer and on-site backups.

    Cons

    I didn't like that there was not an electronic prescription piece available with mcp. I had to investigate and use a different product.

    Advise on being user friendly

    I do really love the ease of the system. I have used it for the past 6 years. I would just like to see some changes for it to help us grow as a business. I love the customer support we receive. [SENSITIVE CONTENT] usually helps me and she is the best.

    Pros

    This product is easy to use and the customer support I get from [SENSITIVE CONTENT] is amazing. However there are a few features needed to better the portal. I love the ease of use and support.

    Cons

    Some of the Cons of this software are... Invoicing is not so user friendly. I should be able to do a date range and print up all invoices at once with all dates of service showing for date range not just a total. I should not have to go in and manually do all 200 of each providers client invoices. Also no ease of access for applying rebilled payments and updates. It is not easy to update a corrected claim and chop out the previous portion so that the client understands why it was billed out twice. Also when a clients payment is taken through instamed it should show up right in their account on MC+. We have to run the payment on Instamed and then have to apply through MC+.

    Love my clients plus

    My Clients Plus has made my billing and accounting and business much easier to handle. I began my practice by doing this all by hand and I can’t imagine going back to that when my Clients Plus makes it so easy. I do not use the appointment calendar or some of the other features but I think they would be helpful to many people as well.

    Pros

    Very easy to bill clients to insurance companies within 20 seconds. Electronic billing gets payments faster and ERAs let me know when payments are made. Great reports features which gives me information on monthly/yearly statistics. Why pay someone to do your billing for you when you can do it so easily with my clients plus and probably much cheaper.

    Cons

    It does take some time to get each insurance company entered and working with ERAs but support is very good to help with setup and learning how to use it.
