Ibadat S.: Hi, my name is Ibadat. I'm from an engineering background and working with Purolator. Purolator is a final-mile delivery company in transportation in Canada, with the highest postal codes in Canada. My job there is to have continuous improvement in the organization. So my title there is Continuous Improvement Manager, and for me, it's important to look at initiatives where we can improve our processes. That's where I rely a lot on Trustpilot, which is a review system, review-based platform. I would definitely rate a five-star to Trustpilot because I rely on their reviews and I think they're doing a great job. Other than Trustpilot, we definitely rely on Google reviews. They have a broader scope of business reach, I would say, and more reviews. But Trustpilot is someone where you have more reliable reviews. It's more like quantity over quality, and that's where we definitely think Trustpilot comes a bit on a higher perspective than Google review. Yeah, I would say Trustpilot has more reliable reviews, and the way they list the businesses is more secure and trustworthy than Google reviews. I don't think Google reviews do a proper background check for all the businesses with their contacts and addresses as much as Trustpilot does. Since we are looking for partnering with some of the businesses, we definitely need someone who is more trustworthy. Google reviews looks like more of a public thing, and Trustpilot seems more trustworthy. So, as I said previously as well, it's more like quantity versus quality. So quality is what Trustpilot delivers, and we rely more on their reviews. I think it's not tough if you have basic computer knowledge, you know how to use the softwares, a simple form register, and then, the audience that Trustpilot has, you definitely need to capture those kinds of good reviews to show it to your customers. It's not at all complicated. Very easy. I would say if you are running a business and looking for more leads, and if you want to... Or if you are a customer and looking for reliable businesses, Trustpilot should be your go-to junction. They have a very wide range of businesses listed with proper ratings, and if you're a business owner, you want to have Trustpilot as a review software so that your customers can look at the reviews your other customers have given, and then it'll definitely prosper your business. For Trustpilot, I would say just expand the horizon on reaching out to more businesses because, the way Google reviews has more, bigger reach, Trustpilot doesn't have and has limited businesses listed. So expand the horizon is what my suggestion is to Trustpilot.

Ihor: Hey, my name is Ihor. I'm CEO at [inaudible 00:00:03], a computer software company, software for freelancers. And I gained Trustpilot five stars. It's a great company and we are using this for maybe about two years and so far so good. I've been using Capterra for placing our company unique information about our company, posting pictures, and requesting our customers for reviews for Capterra. We're using both platforms and for us as software company, as more platforms we have for visibility and for users review, the better it is. It's pretty easy, just signing up the companies and confirming all data and accounts and just setting up descriptions, setting up their comments, asking for use. More or less the same. I guess you should be really careful and you should really invest your time into putting the right description of the company into allowing your users to find you easily, to make sure your product and Trustpilot is connected. So anyone from your product can go ahead and leave review about yourself. So as more details you're providing, as more feedback you're receiving, is better the traction is going to be.

Some reviews are clearly not from actual customers which can make it less credible and brings reputation into question

Trustpilot's great, it's pretty well known unlike G2 so I think it has a more balanced audience, whereas others seem to be more incentivised platforms. Upgrading to a paid package with Trustpilot has given us the ability to add widgets to our website to request reviews and send out personalised and automated emails to customers who give us high satisfaction scores, to ask them for a review. This is great because it'll show as verified, unlike some spam reviews you get from people who've never used your product.
They allow a lot of spam reviews, for instance people who may have got the wrong software, or someone who is blaming the provider when actually it's a problem with another piece of the puzzle. It's really hard to get these type of reviews removed as well. We also frequently get emails from the Trustpilot team themselves warning us against 'fake' reviews that they assume we're making. This is bizarre and I'm not sure what's gone wrong in their system but it's not an appreciative feeling you get as a customer being told that you're misusing their platform. Makes for a pretty cold experience overall.

I find Trust Pilot a highly reliable resource where I can read opinions about services or goods. I feel that it also creates a sense of trust that I am able to have my customers write a potential product feedback. My rating is 10/10 and I continue to use Trust Pilot in the future both professionally and personal.
The fact that I am able to stay on track of my customers experience in an easy way with an easily readable grading scale. I also use Trust Pilot when I am looking for a vendor of a service or product to see what others are saying. This feels like an extra layer of purchasing security which could save me thousands of dollars in the future by making the right choices.
I have nothing negative to say about Trust Pilot.

I have been using trustpilot for years, I am always looking for new methods of online earning and investment, the web is now a jungle that includes many types of worlds, good and bad, I use trustpilot mainly to be able to make a first online selection and to understand so which websites are more reliable than others. On many occasions it has allowed me to fall into guaranteed scams, in fact the websites were perfectly created and seemed to be reliable sites, but reading the reviews on trustpilot, left by unfortunate people who had fallen for it before me, I understood that instead it was a scam that would have cost me money and time. I must say that very often trustpilot, thanks to the positive reviews, has allowed me to discover websites that I didn't know. Fundamental division into categories to find new inspiration.
I like the ease of use and clarity of the content.
I don't like the lack of an app that can speed up smartphone research.

TrustpilotAWFUL experience from start to finish is an understatement! DO NOT USE.1. No onboarding. I was left to figure everything out myself.2. Our account was set up incorrectly under the wrong company as we operate as two entities. It took 1.5 months to get it corrected and the subscription was useless during that time. 3. We were set up with stars instead of written testimonials as we requested. So I was told it’d be more expensive. This should have been told to us up front. Again, useless during that time. 4. We were given a link so that our clients can submit an UNVERIFIED testimonial. Why would we want that? This was not shared until after I cancelled cancel. 5. Since we’re Retirement Planners and our clientele are older or elderly and aren’t tech savvy enough to create an account after clicking said link so we have a ZERO conversion rate so we have gotten NO benefit from Trustpilot. 6. You get ONE notice of renewal that went into my junk and didn’t see.7. I was told that someone marked my account for non-renewal on 1.3.23 and yet that was not the case. They’re trying to say we renewed for an entire year.8. Today is 5.20 and I have reached out SEVERAL times since 3.2 to discuss our account with someone. It took over 1.5 months for our account manager to contact me.9. They don’t keep good records so they don’t have “proof “of they tell their customers.10. They don’t care about customer service or how it has impacted their customer.
NOTHING. We got ZERO benefit from Trustpilot. Complete waste of money.
My entire experience was HORRENDOUS from beginning to end. Even after I thought the end was over.

I've so far had a very bad experience with the bait n' switch from their website. The salesperson was not willing to be flexible with the contract. At least 99% of SaaS companies offer a monthly plan vs a 12-month plan. This company only offers a 12-month plan and bills quarterly. Completely false advertising of their pricing and commitment.
It's nice to have another place where folks can review our company.
Beware of total sales scam! First off, we've received nothing but 5-star reviews, but somehow Trustpilot only displays a 4.1-star average. It's as if it's some kind of tactic to get us to reach out to them so they can sell us on a BS 12-month contract. Their website is a total bait n' switch, as it says nothing about being billed quartlery (only shows monthly price). They also bury their mention of a 12-month contract way at the bottom in the FAQ section.

For businesses with less than 10,000 reviews, the overall TrustScore is recalculated immediately after a new review is posted. For businesses with more than 10,000 reviews, TrustScore recalculation happens once per day, since the TrustScore will not change as quickly once this threshold is reached. The formula for calculation considers three factors: time span, frequency, and Bayesian average. Regarding payment terms - these should have been made clear in your contract. My Overall experience with trust pilot is better than trust radius. Because trust pilot is free to post, never paid for review. Their most of reviewer are genuine and fully organic..
Trust pilot as above i said name is enough for their contribution in every possible sector, where trust and reliability is most important factor. I am using trust pilot sinse 2010.i feel their 75% of views express here are true and organic. Now a days everyday new frauds are coming in news, so people 's dont trust easily. This platform play significant role and help people in determining what is best for him. This is the only reason, I really liked this platform very much. I also have posted several reviews. You can check.
I dont like about trust pilot only one point, here anybody can post fake reviews. I suggested for trust pilot, first check genuineness of reviewer, so that no one post fake review. It also increased their reputation, reliability and trust.

Great way of tracking customer satisfaction and giving feedback back to customers when a review is left. Very easy to use and sign up for.
Difficult to separate reviews that are clearly wrong or spam.

We do lots to combat fake reviews and protect our platform. For example, every review on Trustpilot is screened by our bespoke automated fraud detection software that identifies and removes fakes. It looks at multiple data points, such as IP addresses, user identifiers, device characteristics, location data and timestamps, to determine if it exhibits patterns of suspicious behavior. Whenever our software detects clearly fraudulent reviews, the review is moved offline and we send an email to notify the reviewer. There are several platforms I visit when I want to make a choice about a product. Trustpilot is one of my favorites. It's important to know what you're dealing with before you start, especially if it costs you money
There are so many products in our markets these days, I think it's very important to get input from other consumers before making a choice. Trustpilot is one of the platforms that I regularly consult before making a decision about a product. For me, TrustPilot is a great platform where you can collect real customer reviews. You can find reviews on different types of products, physical or software. You can also find different types of reviews and ratings, with the right comments. Moreover, it is easy to use. By typing in the search bar, you can find the product you want. I recommend that anyone who wants to buy a product should check it out

My experience with Trustpilot has been good overall. Eventhough it has some limitations, it seems to be popular amongst our customers and is known as a trustworthy platform amongst them.
I've used this software both as a customer to check the review of different companies, and as a brand to collect feedback from our customers and share it with others. It really is a great software, it is very well known so it makes customers trust us when they see we have good reviews on trustpilot. We've noticed an increase in sales since we shared our reviews on our website. It is quite simple to develop and is easy to install and use.
Trustpilot has some limitations. You cannot design the email to ask customers for a review that well. There arent that many options for it. There are also some limitations on placing the reviews on your website and having control over how it looks.

Its the most popular review site for our customers so it is critical that we are able to manage our brand reputation from the same platform.
We were dealing with a lot of negative reviews from customers after a billing issue in our internal systems. Because most of our customers went to TrustPilot, we were alerted immediately about the situation and were able to deploy a solution immediately. We were able to reach out to our customers who submitted a negative review and get 75% of those reviews taken care of and most of those customers removed the negative reviews.
I wish there was some AI built into the software that helped in crafting messages to customers. We think it is important that each message to our customers is unique and does not look canned. Sometimes that can take a very long amount of time. It would also be great to be able to track who removed their negative reviews.

Overall I would advise it has been ok but as mentioned hard to remove reviews not relating to the company.
It is a good way to get your customers to provide a review about the services you offer and there is an option for the customers to leave a reference number so we can then resolve issues with the customer directly.
The company I work for is an online booking platform with 1000's of salons on the system, people often go onto Trustpilot and add a negative review but the review is about the experience at the salon not about Treatwell. It is really difficult to get these reviews reported and removed.

Amazing how the creator of this software was able to come up with this useful and very effective software. Would love to introduced it to all my friends.
What we got here, is a software that not only useful in our business but also worth a try. The software allows us to monitor the quality of service we give to our clients. Great experience. Lots of options to really get your brand out there.
It's very easy for customers to use and it allows them to see their reviews as authentic too since it integrates with our order system. I like the integrations available and how easy it is to make new assets.
I wish more people were familiar with Trustpilot to increase the brand recognition and trust. It's a better platform than Yelp but it's not as well known. I hope this changes because this is a good system.

Totally worth it if you want to build confidence among your potential clients.
What I like most about Trutstpilot is that it offers an unbiased way for your clients to leave their opinions of your service. When you check users reviews of a certain service in that precise certain service's website, that makes me wonder if the review is honest or real or if it has been changed in any way, or even whether the administrators have removed the negative reviews. This does definitely not happen when you use Truspilot, as you cannot modify or control the content of your clients reviews. You can write reply to each of them though and, if you suspect that someone is leaving fake reviews on your profile, you can tell Trustpilot and they will open an investigation about it, so no worries either. Customer service deserves 5 or more stars, they speak your language (mine's Spanish) and they help you until you get all the informationyou need.
What I like less is the big difference in options and features between the free membership and the premium one. I wish there was something in the middle for small businesses as well.

Overall it's been a good experience. It's made review collection and monitoring easier for me. This is one of my main responsibilities at my company and TrustPilot is the easiest of the sites to monitor.
I like that TrustPilot is easy to navigate for both the reviewer and myself (the administrator). I like that you can tell whether the review came in through a unique link, basic link, or organically. Responding to and reporting on reviews in the Dashboard is very easy and straightforward.
There are some things about it that I don't like such as that if a company is rated a 7.0 they have 4 stars, and if someone is rated an 8.9 they also have 4 stars. This doesn't allow people who are quickly searching to really see the difference between the two companies.

We have been able to collect customer reviews for our services and are working on implementing product reviews which will also we very helpful to our business. I would definitely recommend others to use this platform as it is helpful and easy to use. My only reason for 9/10 would be the feedback I have regarding customers being able to leave reviews without a verified name and/or email address. It makes it really difficult for us to check customer accounts without their name and email address. We try to respond to the review for customers to contact us but they never respond back with more info so we can help. We have also been able to help many customers but there is no option to request an updated star review and customers have mentioned how difficult or unclear it is for them to update the star rating and can only add text to their negative review, yet we still have the negative star rating. We should be able to dispute reviews that have been resolved through TP or outside of Trustpilot at which point TP would verify through the customer.
I like the ease of use for both our customers and our team. It is fairly easy to navigate as we work to collect reviews. It is easy to filter through reviews and the widget on our website looks great. I haven't taken full advantage of Customer Support but the few times I have, it's always been easy and my questions get answered.
I do not like that customers can leave a review with an unverified name/account such as "Customer" or a nick name which makes it difficult for us to look into their account and further assist them. SOMETIMES we can click their nickname and their email address will show, but this is not the case for all. Furthermore, we cannot send a private message which makes it difficult to discuss personal account info or if we don't have their real name, we can't reach out publicly AND privately to ask for their account name/info/etc. Lastly, customers we have resolved issues for try to login and update their review but have a difficult time doing so. At most, they just add to the text and say we helped them but can't update the star rating or review entirely. With that, there is no place for us to notify Trustpilot that the review has been resolved. It would be super helpful if we could "dispute" reviews that were already resolved and TP can contact the customer to verify.

Improved trust and transparency between buyer & seller
Trustpilot is just as much a platform for merchants as it is a resource for customers, which is pretty great considering other review platforms don't have this relationship with the people leaving and reading the reviews. In our industry trust is hard to come by, so the transparency is super for all parties.
Some customers don't even realize that they're setting up a review for Trustpilot, which can be troublesome or confusing to them later on (but not often). It's a bit complicated to get a user error sorted out; for instance, if a user gives a 1/5 rating yet leaves a glowing review, it's painful to explain how the user can change the review.

The software has the most robust and versatile integration i've seen compared to any other in the same space, as well as various reporting tools and other key features in their platform. Just as important, they are a Google Approved Ratings Partner, which means that Trustpilot reviews are leveraged by Google and will show on various Ads and Organic search results to help further boost CTR and improve ROI. In my experience, their sales, support, compliance and engineering teams have been more than accommodating in not only addressing our needs, but also working side-by-side with us to help successfully integrate new and unique uses of their product to fit our business.
I would like to see more capabilities and enhancements surrounding review types associated with Services, as they have done with their Product reviews.
