Team field management makes this perfect.

Pros

Serious, its not bad, it does everything you probably need it top do and also notifies the client saving me a lot of those "how far are your guys" calls every single 30 minutes.

A real time-saver and great for monitoring all invoice statuses -

Pros

My favorite feature is the way you can send via email, a past due notice for your invoices and how easy it is to customize all email templates.

Cons

Only that you can only schedule one follow-up past due invoice. I would like to send past due notices every 15, 30, 45 days and send demand for payment emails at 60 and 90 days and then a notice for collections notice at 112 days stating past due account goes into collection at 120 days - Then it is out of our hands -

We use this product in the office and on the go to track almost anything that is important to our business from appointments to quotes, job management... It has received a good acceptance by the team without having to "sell" hard, which is the best proof of its usefulness.

no everyone like the geo-location feature that allows you to see where your colleagues are!

overall the system has improved our job visibility and implementation has been a success. I feel the developers are too focused on adding new features rather then improving the existing ones. There are numerous, well lets say quirks to the software that are not being dealt with.

Pros

It has also allowed us to keep a time/date record of job completion times to assist with any client enquiries. syncs invoicing with accounting software eg MYOB, ZERO

Cons

Reporting Is absolutely rubbish needs massive improvement no way to track simple data like quote conversion rates ect.

The best part about ServiceM8, is they have plenty of information and screenshots online. Almost every other service software I looked at (around 20 products) had no actual images of their software. Their websites were pure marketing, with cheesy animated movies about how "your business is losing money from inefficiency, and you should buy our software to help!" All that marketing garbage, and hardly any information about how their app works, or looks during daily use. Then if you want to learn more you have to schedule a Demo with one of their team members. ServiceM8 I found to be very welcoming, open, and with a great help staff.

Um well I am in the pressure washing - gutter cleaning business and needed a software to keep track of customers, have 2 way sync with quick books online and easy scheduling.

Pros

Schedule can export to google or Apple calendars Automated messages sent Ability to store files to customers Pay per job created Auto check into job and tells you when to leave to get there on time Also great integrations with mail chimp and other softwares So many good things yet not perfect

No ability to add mobile number from mobile app.

Lots to like..but when you find issues, you will be ignored by ServiceM8

Confused the team and was a tedious pain to find & remove them all. I reported and also asked if we could have these jobs removed from our billing as we're on a legacy pay per job plan.

Pros

- Integrates with Xero...limited merge fields but enough to make it work - GPS & time tracking - Service reminders

Cons

- Zero followup or support when reporting glitches - Dispatch board gets very buggy and sometimes won't render correctly on desktop - On the CRM side, you need to memorise where you can edit things without it glitching e.g. you can't change payment terms via editing a client found in global search, updating a client doesn't update the recurring job - you need to also update the template...double handling, if you try to edit/add contacts or change their role from the client page it will fail to pull these into a new job.
