Power users can make use of Zoho Creator for simple data collection and reporting apps that need more than a spreadsheet but don't warrant the involvement of the development team. Great value, especially when included as part of the Zoho One bundle.

Easy to Use - Great For Business Email

I really like this web app software. It allows me to quickly create database driven web apps. As soon as I create a new form and place my first field on that form, a database table is created without me doing that! I used to do Oracle development and you have to do a lot just to set up tables, relations, etc. Is so simple to do it with Zoho Creator. You can set up the relations by relating 2 forms together. I think you will however need to write some coding in the Deluge scripting language that comes with Creator to make sure you don't delete any parent rows if child rows exist.

Relational database web apps made simple!

Was less costly than our previous software solution with more customization as long as we were willing and able to learn how to use Zoho to its full potential. 

Great software.  If you need customization, you need to try it. 

I use this relational database to manage over 600 architectural licenses and association memberships.  One database contains all of the licenses for 100 architects for all fifty states plus several Canadian provinces.  The other database contains the continuing education (CE)requirements for each jurisdiction.  The reports and query modules are used to alert me to expiration dates and how many CE credits that licensee needs before renewing.  States and provinces may impose heavy penalties if the licensee does not have the required credits, or renews late.

The main application that I was considering using when deciding which app to purchase was Airtable. That fulfilled a lot of the requirements needed, but there were several reasons why I decided to go with the option that I did choose. The biggest reason that I chose Zoho Creator was its integration with the rest of the Zoho One suite. I use Zoho for everything from forms to signature creation, to my CRM. And so having that seamless integration between Creator and those applications, I was really critical to the decision to go with this application.
                                                       I found the process of integrating Zoho into my business to be very easy. There are a lot of onboarding guides, FAQs, documentation of how best to integrate. There's a lot of guides in terms of how to switch over from other software and they make it really easy to export files from other software and import it into their system. So I found that process to be really easy and straightforward. My biggest recommendation when deciding to use Zoho Creator would just be to make sure that you know what your needs are. It's a really useful piece of software, but it does require human intervention. It does require you to set things up in exactly the way you want them to be set up. So, don't expect this to be something that you can just plug and play. It really does require some thought and initiative in terms of how you want it to best serve your needs.
