Crowdcast - 2025 Pricing, Features, Reviews & Alternatives

What is Crowdcast?

Crowdcast is a live video platform designed to help creators and businesses to streamline processes related to interviews, webinars, workshops, audience engagement and more. It lets users invite co-hosts or guests, receive questions from attendees, timestamp answers and add multiple people on a single screen.

Crowdcast allows businesses to customize landing page URLs by adding images, videos, or other content and capture leads through built-in registration or landing pages. It helps creators manage private, paid, multi-session, recurring, or large-scale events, limit seats, and accept payments via Stripe integration. Plus, creators can use the screen share functionality to share presentations, demos, and other multimedia files with audiences and manage chat controls including deleting comments, inviting people to events, or viewing attendee profiles.

Crowdcast connects with Zapier to facilitate integration with various third-party marketing, eCommerce, or communication platforms such as Slack, Gmail, Mailchimp, Klaviyo and more. It lets users engage with audiences via live Q&As, polls, or chat, share moments across social media platforms, and create embedded links for various events. Crowdcast also allows professionals to track referrals, registrations, or signups and export data such as attendee names, poll answers, emails, and more into CSV format.

Pros
“I love that the Q&A has its own section with the ability for registrants to upvote any questions. Plus, the ability to timestamp each question/answer for ease when viewing the recording.”
“Very intuitive; I've recommended for many clients who are not very tech savvy and they always love it. The community and support are awesome, and they're always working to improve the platform.”
“Crowdcast has a great feature set, it is easy to use and quick to set up an event, which is not the same experience for other products like it. Definite kudos to Crowdcast in set-up.”
Cons
“This software is supposed to do one thing (live casting of a video stream to thousands of people) and it fails miserably at doing that one thing.”
“The registration process for attendees was unfortunate with Crowdcast, which was a real bummer.”
“My biggest issue is that Safari is basically off limits, I personally use Chrome but many in my audience don’t. So there needs to be quite a bit of user onboarding because no one reads.”
