Pros and cons

SignNow has been a awesome software for electric signatures. This has been a useful tool and has been great and definitely helps time management for important documents.
I love the ease of use for someone like myself who is not incredibly technical. I also love that it has made our sign-off process very simple, automated and streamlined.
I love how easy SignNow makes paperwork and other things that I would normally dread. It saves you from having to fax or communicate back and forth too much and I love that it’s free for users.
There aren’t too many problems with this software. It occasionally will crash or not export the pdf properly so I’ll have to redo it, but that’s rare.
Customer service is terrible. They have not been able to fix basic software issues like blurry documents and an inability to use the same form document multiple times.
For instance, a signatory is unable to add comments or other text to a document. This is a negative for me as some other software programs allow this feature.

SignNow. A very useful tool to sign your documents on the go

Reviewed 4 years ago

I travel two weeks per month and that is a huge amount of time out of the office. Having the possibility to sign crucial documents while traveling is extremely important. It also provides the possibility to have all of them stored and available at one place provided by the application. You don't need extra storage on tour cloud or PC. Once signed, you share it or send it by email from within the application at the same step.

Pros

It is multi-platform, I can use it on my smart phone, tablet and personal computer. It also has storage for your signed documents, and of course, you can create folders to be accessed by co-signers.

Cons

The tablet platform is way easier to use than the PC.

SignNow Helped Eliminate Lag Time in Contract Signing

Reviewed 2 years ago

Overall our experience has been great, and I enthusiastically recommend signNow. The primary function of the software is great - we can easily add fields and get documents sent off for signature, and have had no complaints or concerns from users on how to complete their online signatures.

Pros

SignNow gives us the ability to conduct business online, which became critical during Covid-19 and, frankly, helped push us more fully into the digital age. Our clients love being able to review and sign documents from home, and we've saved a considerable amount of lag time between creating documents, mailing them to the clients and having them sign or mail them back. Half our younger generation clients don't have printers, or scanners, but are quite happy to sign online, and with signNow, so are we. The software is super easy to use in adding signature and other fields, and gives all parties copies of the executed documents, which saves us another step on the back end too.

Cons

There are multiple tiers of product available, and we've chosen the lowest tier. The features we like least may be available in the premium package options, so take this with a grain of salt. But I would like to have clients able to upload documents. To have the software remember past customer's names, not just emails (we have to manually type them in, each time, right now). To customize the subject line of messages. To upload word docs and separate PDFs into one signature item, vs having to PDF and merge prior to uploading.

SignNow was not a good move for my business.

Reviewed a year ago

As a small business owner, I do not recommend this program for high traffic forms.

Pros

The only thing that was acceptable from SignNow was the customer service support. Every time I needed to speak to customer support there is no doubt that I was able to get a hold of them

Cons

What I did not like about SignNow was that for any feature that should be included you would have to pay an additional fee. The fill-in-the-blanks did not line up at all with the original wording, you cannot create a document from scratch you can upload pre-created documents. When sending the document for signature, some recipients did not even know who was sending the document for a signature because it did not say your business name only the email address. If I was a SignNow partner and since I used the program for so long I could easily tell them what they can fix.

digitizing the signing process. saving paper and time and adding convenience to our clients.

Pros

when it works as planned, it offers a lot of convenience to our business. every transaction in our industry requires about 20 pages of investor disclosures and signatures. SignNow allows clients to easily complete this process from their computer or mobile device. saves a lot of time, saves a lot of trees, and both our office and client get a PDF Copy when complete.

Cons

sometimes there appear to be technical glitches where it does not work as planned. usually we just have to wait till SignNow has update a fix and then works again as expected. but this is sometimes and inconvenience. if this is resulting from user error on our end, I would to know and be put in touch with a training person so we can address this.

My findings....

Reviewed 4 years ago

I use SignNow to obtain signatures on various insurance applications. Saves the customer time and easy to do without coming in the office.

Pros

The ease of use in setting up the documents to be signed. SignNow also works with my agency management system.

Cons

It is my understanding the client must download an app before they can sign their documents. I have not had any complaints regarding this but I would like to see a simplier application for the client.

Efficient and fairly priced.

Reviewed 5 years ago
Pros

Sign-now provides my organization access to its security and integration features which puts the deployment of legally binding and widely accepted e-signature across devices on our fingertips. With Signnow, we have been able to create a resilient and scalable electronic digital workflow and automated paperwork across all engagements with clients and partners.Resulting in a faster paperwork process in all of our dealings. I especially cherish the bulk invite feature , which enable us send invites to multiple persons all at once ,by simply creating a single paperwork template and uploading a list of people we'd like to append their signature to the paperwork. This works perfectly in situations where multiple persons are needed to sign a paperwork.

Cons

Quality of support is very slow and just not good enough. We will like to get responses to concerns and setbacks we encounter on this tool in a matter of hours ,rather than days ; which is the norm with the Signnow support team as of this time.

Pros

if you don't have a pdf editor, signnow lets you add text to each document which makes it convenient. The ability to have clients sign anything virtual makes the process quick and easy especially when you work in real estate and require multiple client signatures on documents.

Cons

When downloading a document you can not add any changes to the document which can be an inconvenience.

Main Features Do Not Work. Support is Slow!

Reviewed 3 years ago
Pros

It's can be a decent system at an affordable price, if it worked.

Cons

The Bulk Invite doesn't to work. After uploading a list of clients, the field chooser removes sending options that are available prior to the CSV upload. Reporting is broken. Reports display random field names instead of user information. Could be a good system is it worked. Support is slow. I only say this because if this is their main business, it should not take a business week to fix a basic function.

Vendor response

Dear Don, we are very sorry for the disappointing experience! Can we have your ticket number, please? You've mentioned that you contacted our Support but since we don't see your email in this review, we can't detect the case on our side. We at signNow are actually using bulk sending via CSV quite frequently ourselves. And it seems to be working alright, for our internal purposes. We would like to investigate this case and settle this as soonest. Please, provide more details, and we would do our best to solve this ASAP. Thanks!

Good for getting signatures

Reviewed 4 years ago

We're using it more for signing and sending documents to the insurance companies and having them sign and send them back. The experience in that aspect has been good.

Pros

It makes getting signatures from customers easy by being able to upload the document and add form fields for them to fill out/sign and then send electronically for them to complete.

Cons

Our company does better with software that allows you to pull up the form in the field and fill out while with the customer. However, this is great for using if the customer is unable to complete the information in person.

Vendor response

Dear Ashley, we are happy to read about your positive experience with SignNow! Actually, you can also use SignNow in the field too! This is called in-person e-signing, or Kiosk Mode. Here is the instruction with screenshots: https://www.signnow.com/features/turn-on-the-kiosk-mode-on-ipad-to-collect-signatures Hope this helps!

The new ecological way to sign

Reviewed a year ago

We use it to send documents to be signed on a recurring basis. Once signed, it allows us to send them to the sender without having to digitize them.

Pros

This software allows you to sign documents and even send them only for review and signature. Saving a lot of paper and time.

Cons

Unfortunately, the use of these tools has not been standardized in all companies, so many times you send digitized signatures and they are not valid.

Vendor response

Omar hi! Many thanks for your positive review! We are happy to be part of your paperless office! And you are absolutely right. The market is still actively growing, and many people are still not aware of the fact that electronic signatures are legally binding in nearly all countries of the world. If any of your customers or business partners would question this fact -- just send us a request to support@signnow.com, we will send you a full legal explanation with proof links, etc. Many thanks for using signNow!

Great app for quick electronic signatures

Reviewed 3 years ago

Overall SignNow is an inexpensive solution for online signatures. The platform makes it easy to collect and send completed documents to clients.

Pros

Applicants are able to quickly and easily fill out forms we design and load into the program. The user interface works great to collect information and sign documents.

Cons

Creating templates can sometimes be cumbersome and unclear. Once they're loaded in they work fine but getting there can be an issue. Organizing documents in the program and archiving can also be time consuming.

Easy for our clients to use

Reviewed 4 years ago

I am very pleased with SignNow. It has improved our firm and clients seem to be happier with it.

Pros

SignNow is a very cost effective way to get electronic signatures. They are super reasonable with their fees. The software is very easy to use as well. With our last software I got way more calls with clients struggling to sign. Since getting Sign Now the number of people struggling to use sign now has dropped significantly.

Cons

I wish I could make notes somewhere that corresponds with each signature being sent out. I would like to note if I called them to remind them to sign and when.

SignNow - Effective and Affordable

Reviewed 4 years ago

We were looking for a way to automate our lease signing process that was efficient, reasonably priced and legally binding. SignNow fulfilled these requirements for us and also lends a bit of credibility and professionalism to this process in the eyes of our clients.

Pros

SignNow is fairly easy to use. What I like most is that this software allows me to automate a process that used to take time and much effort. To get our commercial office leases signed, we either had to meet in person (a half a day's trip) with tenant or PDF documents, email them back and forth, print them out and re-scan for signatures. With SignNow, we can create documents to sign and store on their website. There is a trail of who has signed and who hasn't signed. No printing out or re-scan necessary. Just save PDF document to folder of choice when fully signed.

Cons

Nothing really. It does take a little time to figure out how to insert, setup and align fields within a document but once it's learned, it's simple.

A good e-sign solution that is really affordable.

Reviewed 6 years ago

A good e-sign product that isn't expensive.

Pros

Features that allow smart signing by URL and robust validation options. They also offer a cool feature called a signing link which makes it easy to use a tiny URL instead of a long one.

Cons

Support is pretty slow. Also, for a year or so they were constantly changing between two brands, SignNow and CudaSign. I think they were switching from one to the other, then decided to revert back. Sometimes this caused confusion as links changed and logins didn't work, since we were attempting to login to one URL when it changed to another.

Wonderful and Affordable Service

Reviewed 4 years ago

Overall, a service we greatly enjoy and continue to use time and time again, the negatives are by far small and far in between. Would be WONDERFUL to edit the document even once uploaded.

Pros

Ease of use, affordability, versatility, and the ability to use this software easily across departments for a series of tasks and needs.

Cons

Sometimes the use of the software isn't intuitive, adding and readding text/signing boxes in constantly reused tax and contract forms can get redundant and annoying.

Not particularly mobile friendly

Reviewed 2 years ago

SignNow used to be my go to way for signing documents and sending them in, but I now don’t want to pay for the service and would rather sign documents in person.

Pros

Originally, I liked that I didn’t have to go in person to sign and that I could do it from the ease of my phone! You could sign in your own cursive, or you could choose a signature look and make it easy. I liked that you could import the date and put check marks in boxes. It used to be free when I first started using it as well.

Cons

Over time, SignNow started charging for using (which stinks when it used to be free), and now it seems harder to use on my iPhone, even though I have a much nicer iPhone now than I used to. It’s such a pain now that I would rather go sign documents in person (as I no longer have a good reliable computer).

Good but needs more options

Reviewed 4 years ago

Allows me to open a blank template. Feel out for each invoice and bill. Then I can have the delivery location sign. That way I can send invoice and bill of lading in for payment before I leave the delivery location.

Pros

I can use it on my android and apple products without have to email documents to each device.

Cons

Once you sign or print on a document, then save it. It's done. You can not go back and edit it. You can not add pages to already saved documents. The new version for the apple, does not allow repeat of words. Say I have a 10 page document I need to put my # on each page. Old version, keep all word typed at bottom of the screen. Where all you have to do is click one instead of typing hole thing over again.

Vendor response

Many thanks for your detailed and useful feedback, Gavin!
