I love how it will easily integrate with other programs like Word or Excel. It also has frequent updates to the software and has great support.

Not my favorite

Acrobat is my power tool for document assembly and publishing. It is my standard format for all important documents for distribution and storage. I can secure the files with passwords, encryption, and server based tools. Nearly everything you want to do to a PDF that was generated with Acrobat \ Distiller is possible with just a click, other converters may have less editability. However, it feels a bloated over the years and it is slow to load and the tools are not all unified from all the company acquisitions.

Industry standard but overpriced and unstable

Adobe makes my job easier when I need to convert documents to PDF and to obtain signatures from clients. Clients can even sign on their mobile device!!

Conveniency is one the best features Adobe Acrobat Pro could possibly offer. It is so easy to navigate through your document. You can easily sign a PDF file, edit it even, you can even rearrange or reorder pages of your PDF file. The best feature for me is definitely being able to put text on the PDF file, which helped me a lot when I need to fill up forms.

After using so many pdf reader I found this and using since 7 years and it changed my experience about pdf reader. its very easy to use and edit pdf files in this and gives me many other feature like to find any words in pages to underline any special object.
The only issue i believe is that it suddenly crashes or closed while opening or editing a file which makes me frustrated.

                                                       For many years, I was working at schools where they just had the free of cost Adobe Reader license, which did not give me, as a visual editor, the ability to edit documents and manipulate graphics on those documents. We decided to move away from Adobe Reader because it wasn't giving us the tools that we needed.
                                                       We decided to transition to Adobe Acrobat DC because of its editing functionality, myself included being in a position that does a lot of editing on documents and also manipulating of graphics, it was imperative that we had a software tool like this that gives me that option of being able to change around a lot of things and still stay within the Adobe Reader platform. The additional editing functionality really was a time saver for me.
                                                       Having worked in the Adobe Suite for a while now using a variety of different Adobe applications, the Adobe Reader was quite easy to get used to, especially the Acrobat DC portion of the suite, and being able to jump right in and not have to train myself on the various things that Adobe Reader Acrobat DC has to offer was very, very important because it basically pushed me to being able to do the job right then and there from the get go, and I didn't have to essentially waste time on learning the product from the beginning.
                                                       If you're interested in getting Adobe Acrobat Reader, I would highly look at your infrastructure, and see if it's something that would benefit your environment. I think if you have individuals who do a lot of editing of documents and manipulation of graphics from a static point, I think that it's a very useful tool to have. It's also very easy to use if you've used Adobe applications in general, so I highly recommend it as a quick tool to edit your documents on the go.

                                                       So before Adobe Acrobat DC, I was doing a lot of workarounds for needing to send documents, for needing to ask for signatures, for doing things like finding other kinds of software online and it was actually pretty difficult. So I have to say when I started using Adobe Acrobat DC, I wasn't necessarily replacing another software program I already had. I was finding a solution to deal with a lot of the just really mundane business problems that I was needing to get solved that I didn't have a good solution for. So it was kind of life changing and job changing when I started using Adobe Acrobat DC.
                                                       So the reasons why I chose Adobe Acrobat DC. So I was already using things like Adobe Reader to open PDFs, but in terms of editing them, in terms of sending them out for signatures, in terms of even being able to make one change, I didn't really have a good option. So I was looking for this software and it was pretty amazing when I found it because it allowed me to do things like send a document out for signature directly from Adobe, not having to open another program, not having to sign into another service online.
                                                       I could also make quick changes and updates to PDF documents without having to convert them between different formats, without having to even lose any formatting. So it's streamlined a lot of the processes that I was working on and being able to send things out to people.
                                                       Getting started with Adobe Acrobat DC has been mind-blowingly easy. It has just downloaded along with the other suite of Adobe software that I have a subscription to. It's a quick option on my desktop to open it. I can even set it up as the default to open PDFs in and the functionality of being able to make choices about what I need to do if I need to send something for a signature has been pretty remarkably easy. So it's been probably like not even a three step process, but a zero step process to start using it.
                                                       If you're considering getting Adobe Acrobat DC, I would say it is definitely worth the money. I would also say just kind of have it downloaded onto your computer onto your suite of options, and set it up as the default to open PDFs. That way you always have it at the ready because you never know when you're going to need to make a quick change. I found that it's really helpful for when I do need to send things out for signatures. So the recommendations are it's definitely worth it, and have it always at the ready. Use it as a default for opening documents.
