I am able to maintain transparency with my clients at all times. TimeDoctor helps me track my hours and provide documented proof of work and give my clients a better view of how I complete my work/tasks. It also helps me in managing my time better.
TimeDoctor is straightforward and easy to use. I like that the desktop tool offers two versions: Pro and Lite, which helps you to choose the right application based on your usage and computer's resources. TimeDoctor also has a lot of integrations - particularly to different Project Management tools. This is especially helpful with managing different clients who each have a different preference on the project management tool that they are using. TimeDoctor is also very cost-efficient for me as a freelancer/consultant.
The price of additional users is a bit expensive for entrepreneurs who are just starting their own team, but overall, it is a worthwhile expense.

With the latest technology, more effective collaborative tools have been developed to address the difficulties and disadvantages of hiring remote workers. Virtual Assistants are in demand helping companies Worldwide produce more and better results for a low cost. Most remote workers and Virtual Assistants are paid by the hour and with Time Doctor, the management can track their employees real work...
Most benefits and advantages are for employers and management with the reports and actual agent status and work hours. However, the agent's Time Doctor Application / Dashboard is not easy to manage and use. Integration to company's accounting and company provided software can be complicated. For every task accomplished it should also be made available in their time doctor application. Agent should identify which task he/she is currently working on that particular hour by providing notes per hour after selecting which task category it belongs. Agents however can save permanent tasks instead of typing them saving them more time by just clicking on the saved task before he or she starts working.

Accurate time tracking for tasks and projects screen shots and app usage is one of my favorite features since it gives you a detailed info on where we spend the most time on our projects fare pricing and bulk discounts :) We integrate Time Doctor with asana for seamless task tracking Love the ability to change time spend on tasks manually in case there is need for it we get a weekly email with information on how our account is being use We can also manage and track time with the IOS app
The desktop app looks a little old school on PC but is works fine. wish they had a better way to create tasks and mark tasks as completed when these are created inside time doctor, instead of having to delete them once they are done
Hi Stephanie, You can actually tick them complete with our most recent app which it Time Doctor version 0.19.9 You can download this new application from our download page at www.timedoctor.com/download.html It should be this here: http://prntscr.com/jll3vk

I'm not really all that excited about the software, I think it can be so much better and I know they are working on great things so that's why I'm hanging around to see what they come up with. For the price point it isn't even that bad, just have to go through other loopholes to make it work which I look forward to not having to do.
Easy to use & set up (somewhat), easy to add and deactivate users, great white labeling feature it integrates to some software, super accurate.. it shows reports with time tracking down to the last second. It is stealthy and screen capture at randome, it pops ups as a reminder to log back in and get to work, also when visiting a low productivity website like youtube (unless you are a tube marketing that is) it asks if you if that's the website you meant to visit and whether you want to work on it. Customer service is THE BOMB! Super patient and will go to any length to make you happy.
Reports are not white labeled and poorly formatted so I personally cannot send those and have to create my own based onthe informtion I can get out of the site and so this also makes the whole white labeled a little pointless because I cannot format the email that go out of TD to the clients cannot format reports to be more appealing, the portal isn't too easy to navigate on the client's end and I...

We are in software development ourselves and this whole platform reeks of something that was built by cheap, overseas, outsourced development teams, OR it was something that has been rushed to market. You need to avoid Time Doctor and Staff.com like the plague. The two companies are linked and perhaps merging because recently Staff.com had a message on their website that said something to the effect...
Having to email their support to cancel my account...I'm joking that was just the last annoying thing I was forced to do with this company. Nothing...I like absolutely nothing about it.
Absolutely terrible piece of software. I cannot for the life of me understand why this software has such high ratings. We used it for about six months and had nothing but problems with it. Some of the issues were: 1. Time not syncing between mobile, desktop, and web clients. 2. Time not accurately being tracked. 3. Unable to archive old project-tasks or projects. 4. Tasks and projects not syncing...
The customer has some genuine problems. We put the full attention of our team on these problems and they are all now solved. However they are very unhappy and have been posting the same negative review on multiple review sites. I think the review is unfair given that 99%+ of our customers are very happy and give us great reviews, and very few people had the problems that this customer had with...

Super affordable and easy to use.
One of the very first sets of time tracker that I used . . . and still using at the very moment I'm writing this review. It perfectly fits with my internal processes. Very intuitive to use. Other time trackers try to reinvent the wheel as if mastering productivity is not hard enough. If you're using TD, you create a project, add a task, then just start doing it. No other hullabaloo. Another advantage...
Hmm if there's something that I want TD to improve on is their mobile app. It lags from time to time. And you shouldn't let it compete with other apps unless you have a super high power smartphone. And if you're like me who's into quantified self, tracking other aspects of like aside from work is just an absolute must. And more often than not, it has to be done off your PC. That's why they have to improve their mobile app.
Hi Monnel, Thank you for using the app to manage your Team. I am glad the Client feature helps you as well. We are working more on the mobile app now to be better at UI and functionality.

Time Doctor is a great asset for tracking and overseeing employee attendance, productivity, and effectiveness. Its user-friendly interface makes it simple to set up and begin utilizing, and its reporting abilities let managers quickly and easily identify areas that require improvement. It also provides useful insights into how employees are utilizing their time and where improvements can be made in terms of productivity and efficiency. I am also pleased with the fact that Time Doctor enables collaboration between different teams, so that everyone can remain updated and make sure that tasks are completed on schedule.
The biggest downside to Time Doctor is that it can be intrusive and feel like an unwelcome presence in the workplace. It can be difficult to get used to having it track all of your activities, and this can make it hard to stay productive. Additionally, some users may find the software too complicated to use and may need additional training or support. Finally, it can be expensive compared to some of the other time-tracking programs available.

I am having a satisfactory experience, even comparing it with other software that perform the same functions. The TD has helped me to significantly improve my performance as an analyst, this has the same impact on personnel as monitoring to the point of achieving objectives that in principle seemed unattainable.
Certainly I liked the amount of options, speaking of indicators that help us manage staff and increase productivity significantly. Not only see captures, but also see the activity of their peripherals and the apps and programs they use
More than a "Cons" i would like that indicators such as low activity may be visible to individuals and not only to those who have TD group management. In turn, that this indicator can be traceable not only in the last 7 days of work but in editable periods of time, example: the last 3 days of work

Time Doctor is an incredibly useful tool for staying organized and productive as a team. It enables me to understand better how I spend my time and make improvements where necessary. Furthermore, its automated time-tracking feature provides me with accurate reports to evaluate my team's progress.
One of the biggest drawbacks of Time Doctor is that it does not integrate with other third-party tools and services, making it difficult for teams to use the tool in combination with other tools they rely on. Another common complaint is that it can be difficult to customize the settings and reports and track time in certain situations accurately. Lastly, the cost of Time Doctor can be prohibitive for some small businesses.

We took the subscription of Time Doctor at the time of the Pandemic when we were fighting hard to track our team. Time Doctor proved a boon at that time and we didn't stop using it after that. We used it with a few clients who had an hourly agreement with us and the clients were totally at ease with the reports that we shared with them and with the option that they could also ask for screenshots. We couldn't find a single bug in the software in the two years of our subscription.
We had been using this software for close to 2 years and we love how simplistic the UI and UX is. It's not hard to find anything at all and it's a breeze to use. The best part is the screenshots functionality. Working remotely at the time of Covid, it was such a blessing to use Time Doctor to monitor and track our team. The clients were also at ease knowing that their projects were being worked on without any delays or hiccups!
There was nothing much to dislike about this software. I just wished it was more affordable for a small team.

Very Satisfied, as I have constant meetings with the account manager.
Web & App Usage ScreenCast Timeline These features are our main dashboard for looking into the productivity | Activity of our employees. It helps us identify low productivity time if the employee is slacking off.
We observed no auto-detection report in terms of any abnormalities in the keyboard and mouse activity. There are employees who took advantage of this wherein they just put a stopper or any heavy object in the arrow down key, this will be detected as keyboard movement.

We have freelancers and work from home employees. The software allows us to monitor the time used accurately. Our freelancers are several kilometers from us by using time doctor we are able to pay them fairly and accurately based on the time rendered.
The software seems to be useful for freelancers and non routine employees. For routinary employees it is not so useful. Thus, there should be a cheaper alternative with lesser features than the full version. Though I intend to remove those employees in time doctor soon so we can save on expenses as the company grows we must prioritize only placing non routinary, work from home or freelance employees because that is where the screenshot features are most useful.

Since we have moved to remote, the biggest issue we had was data security and productivity management. With Time Doctor, we can manage the IT security, but still, we need to relay some manual reports for productivity.
The overall user interface is good. Easy to navigate with all the options. Flexibility to manage the screenshot timings. Reports are pretty straightforward, and the dashboard gives a good overview of productivity.
Comparing to other tools we have recently explore, it has limited options. The cost is at the higher end. The installation and uninstallation process is too messy. I consider this more like a screen capturing or employee monitoring tool rather than a complete productivity tool.

I benefit from this software by getting a variety of reporting options and features for a relatively low cost. These are helpful for both me and my clients.
This software is perfect for freelance consultants needing to track project time and/or give clients access to project task breakdowns. It was easy for me to set up my clients with access credentials to their files. I also love how budget-friendly Time Doctor. It provides a scalable solution that should allow me to grow my team without too much fuss or further set-up required.
I don't have any particular dislikes about the software. Sometimes it is difficult to get ahold of customer support but they seem to have stepped up their game lately, so perhaps this is changing.
I saw that you had issues reaching out to our support team. I am now here to bridge that gap. Please, if I can help with anything, please direct your concerns to support@timedoctor.com

Time Doctor has saved us tons of time and money as we are sure that workers are doing what they should be doing during hours logged in.
The best part of Time Doctor that differentiates it from the rest of similar apps is that it takes random screenshots throughout the duration of a user that is logged in. This allows us to view their activities and making sure that our workers are productive and time billed is spent wisely and efficiently.
The cost would be a factor, but they do have volume discounts so that's not really a deal breaker for us.

Detailed time tracking that makes the billing process to clients much easier.
Easy to track time. Great back-end functionality. Ability to assign admins that don't need time tracking. White-label client portal.
Screenshots are only retained for 12 months. It's too easy to track time on the wrong project. You can fix it quickly, but you end up with a few seconds tracked on the wrong task.
Screenshots are actually stored in the server from the time you started with Time Doctor. If you need help retrieving these, as long as they¿re not deleted, please let us know.

Time Doctor is a good choice for small-sized companies due to price, tracking, or screenshots features. However, there are some problems that may slow your work. Therefore, I hope, Time Doctor IT team will improve the software and this software will compete with others very well in close future
1) The tracking time feature is very useful. By this, improves the productivity of workflow by letting employers track their work and remove useless files 2) Screenshot feature informs you momentarily about employers' work on a specific case. With these screenshots, it is easy to monitor and control work procedures 3) In comparison with alternative Softwares on the same functionalities, Time Doctor is very budget-friendly. Companies can get an upgraded version by paying a small amount of money
1) Sometimes the App gives unnecessary alerts concerned with unrelated websites. For example, social media site: When users opened Twitter or Facebook pages, the app notified these sites as non-productive sites, despite that user was doing communications and media PR. 2) There were problems to log in and connect to the software via tablets and smartphones. Screenshots were not visible for users t check. 3) There could be improvement in integration. We had difficulties to integrate to Assembla

Time tracking at its finest.
It's probably the best time-tracking tool out there. As if that weren't enough, it supports Linux, which is quite rare, and offers a bunch of integrations with project management and other tools as well.
It's price and the confusing names and sets of functionalities of Time Doctor Classic and Time Doctor 2. The latter not only lacks a fair amount of features the former version has, many integrations previously supported aren't there in the TD2 edition. Maybe everything would be much clearer if they just chose another name for both.

increased staff productivity and automates the "nagging" to staff with are you working and pausing the time automatically. Made management on semi auto-pilot.
I like that it is easy, in the cloud, has a client portal and is reliable. It is also fairly affordable
Time Doctor has pretty much all the features one would need for proper automated management of users. The only thing I would ask to improve is the poor time usage report and the ability to edit how sensitive I would like it to be.

Overall happy with the software. Will use it continuously. I even track my own time as the owner on projects.
The Asana integration was by far the most helpful. It allows everything that we do have an hourly meter and corresponded cost to each project.
The customer support. It took weeks of follow up to everything, even to have a rep acknowledge that there is an issue. Support's first instinct is to defer blame to an integration partner when there is an issue. It took another few months before support acknowledged that Time Doctor had a bug. By the time the bug was fixed, I had to find a workaround for the problem and the solution was no longer applicable. I commend the effort, but it just wasn't very helpful.

What I like about time doctor is the customer service they provide, they answer and help you with every question you have until an issue has been solved.

It had been a great experience with Time Doctor. Had we not got the life time deal from another vendor, we would have stuck with Time Doctor and honestly, even after getting the life time deal, things are not as smooth or as efficient as they were with Time Doctor. Time Doctor was truly remarkable and beats competition heads on.
We had been using Time Doctor in our company for remote management of employees and for time tracking for some of our clients who wished that the time be tracked for the tasks that we worked on for them. I must say that after exploring 2-3 options, Time Doctor was one option that truly worked flawlessly. No issue was faced ever, be it installing on Mac or Linux or Windows or be it screen capturing or task management or a host of other activities that were tracked using Time Doctor.
There was nothing to not like about this software. The only reason we shifted to another solution was that we were getting a pretty cheap Life Time Deal on another such solution.

This tool has the features I need to give prove to my employers about my work. Compared to others, this has everything I need (task tracking, screenshots, desktop as well as web apps).
It can be very intrusive if you only need basic things (it tracks apps usage, web pages, web cams, etc., etc.).
