Kaivo is a data platform for connecting your data sources into a managed BigQuery warehouse, built for technical and non-technical people alike. In the self-service interface, you connect a data source in a few clicks, guided by a step-by-step setup that takes minutes, no data engineering skills required. From there, Kaivo automatically manages both the connection and the warehouse behind it: keeping your data fresh, adapting as your sources change, and scaling as you grow.

Because the output is a standard BigQuery warehouse, it connects directly to any BI or AI tool that supports BigQuery, including Power BI, Tableau, Looker, Data Studio, dbt, and Claude, plus dozens more BI, AI, and data modeling tools, without a proprietary reporting layer in between. Authentication is handled through each user's own Google account or, for teams without Google Workspace, a dedicated service account generated in Kaivo.

Kaivo includes 500+ pre-built connectors across CRM, ERP, accounting, marketing, HR, and finance systems, from global staples like Salesforce, HubSpot, and Shopify to names with a strong regional foothold like Fortnox (finance) and Custobar (marketing), and newer, fast-growing names like Attio (CRM) and Dixa (customer engagement), with hundreds more covering everything in between. Each connector comes with its own step-by-step setup guide, so anyone on your team can connect a new source, no technical background needed. Sync happens on a daily schedule by default, with faster syncing available on request. Historical data is retained for 36 months by default, with extended retention available as an add-on. Because your BI and AI tools query the warehouse directly rather than each source's live API, they stay fast and never hit a source system's own rate limits.

The warehouse is EU-hosted for GDPR compliance, with data encrypted in transit and at rest (TLS 1.2/1.3, AES-256) on GCP infrastructure aligned with ISO/IEC 27001. Customer credentials are strongly encrypted and never logged, and Kaivo never uses your data for its own purposes, viewing it only when needed to provide support or resolve service issues. Sensitive fields, such as emails or personal identifiers, can also be excluded from any sync yourself, right when you set up the connector.

Pricing is a flat monthly platform fee plus a per-connector charge, published transparently rather than gated behind a sales call. The BigQuery warehouse itself, along with generous usage that covers the vast majority of customers in full, is included in that fee; only truly exceptional data volumes would ever trigger a small overage, billed at Google's actual cost with no markup.
